$60 per month "not bad speeds" "all listening ports blocked" "great if you just want to surf webpages"

CableCable They block all listening ports. Great if you just want to surf webpages. If you want to do any programing / experiment with php / perl scripts and mess around with linux/bsd operating systems, play with Apache webserver, host a game or two. Forget it.. all ports are blocked.
You can try and call them, you will get the run around. And when you do actually speak with someone either on the phone or email, they will tell you they can open a port (one) and want to charge you money for this. Then they tell you it will cost more money also because it will be classed as a commercial account.
OMG *shakes head*
.. i guess i will have to call Nexicom in the morning and see if they do the same. (they didn't years ago when i was with Nexicom)
if they don't bye bye CableCable.

$35 per month about 75 days "fast, reliable, amazing staff"
| |
I was installed over two months ago and the service has never been down. I was previously connected via Bell but CableCable's I-zoom service blows that away. Not only is the service great but the staff is amazing, the installer was very professional and did a great job. He even cleaned up and repaired my PC for me. While with Bell my PC became infected with various viruses and spyware since with CableCable I have no such issues. Their FREE spyware, spam and virus filtering is a great plus. Good job CableCable!!!
