My package is the ultimate combined with my cable. Speeds vary during time of day and users online im guessing, not too tech savy here.

  • Cost: $39 per month (12 month contract)
  • Install: about 7 days
Good "Locally owned : Not affected by weather : Unlimited Bandwidth : No Throttling"
Bad "Initial hardware cost/Installation : Tech support availability"

When I signed up, i-zoom was the only option other than sattelite. I use them for my VOIP phone as well, which saves $5 off the bill. Total bill for VOIP and 3Mb connection is $84.64 after HST.

I have had multiple types of hardware provided by them. It depends on whether you have VOIP or not. Current hardware is an Arris modem with battery backup. Battery sounds great until you realize that the antenna needs to be powered to receive signal another $60 ups fixed that issue.
