These people NEVER answer their phones.
Do your homework about this company.
Pre Sales information:

I live in a rural area that was served by Galaxy Cablevision, a horrible company in its own right. In 1997, their service and prices drove me away to Dish Network. For internet, I was still on dialup until 2002 when DSL became available to me through BellSouth (now AT&T). I have a commercial customer who lives near me but cannot get DSL. Galaxy Cablevision tells me they sold their lines to Charter Communications. Charter tells me that a company called BroadStar owns the lines out here now. I've made many phone calls over the past few months to try to find out info on internet service from BroadStar for this customer. They NEVER, EVER answer the phones. If you select the right option through their voice menu, you can leave a message, but they never call back. I contacted the SC Secretary of State's office (who now issues cable franchises in SC) to find out who really owns the cable lines here. They must have contacted Charter, because Charter's VP of operations for this area called me and confirmed it was BroadStar's lines, but he couldn't get them on the phone either. If a company won't even return a pre-sales call, I have serious concerns how they'll treat you once they already have your money. Charter is going to check into obtaining the lines from BroadStar but I'm not holding my breath. From other reviews I've seen of BroadStar, they seem to focus on multi-residential complexes, and many of their customers are unhappy. I still cannot figure out why they'd want to buy lines in a rural area then not want to sell any service on them.
