Basically this company is a joke. Every few Years they Change their name but act like they are getting bought out to try and act like they are a company born anew because they piss so many people off, and steal your money.
I at one point had to suffer from them for 3 months from such horrid service.
I finnaly just called them and told them to cancel my service because it was down 99% of the time and they sent technicians out who where as smart as a piece of wood.
They charged me $800.00 for installation and 150+ a month for service that was worse then dial-up(you have to understand when your desperate you are willing to pay almost anything) this was around 2004.
After the Jokers changed their named at least 3-4 times i'm aware of I started my own ISP business and am picking up the slack where these Guys droped the ball.
The whole City of Corcoran, CA basically ran them out(which i now service). and several other cities because they are unbelivable, and again they just without warning cut service to at least 50 people i'm aware of as of 9/1/2007 no website to be found again possibly another name change or maybe they are finnaly going under).

WestCoast Communications have there act together for my area, Telephone and Cable companies refuse to put and CO's in my area because of cost even after we offered 10 acaers rent free to put in CO's,
I ordered 384/128 for 49.95 a month plus install fee, lost original invoice but came to roughly 260.00 for 1st month and instaltion fee, install took 30 to 40 minutes
with 2 installers. They will configure your router if asked to do it.
Now here is were it gets great, my 384/128 on advrage gets 2-3mps/1-2mps
My IP is static setup and there are no issues with adding a WiFi router in the
loop,just setup router normaly as if it was DSL with static.
There equipment is simple enough, they put a small dish and attach a radio (modem) and point it to there tower, you need a direct line of site to the tower and if not cut some branches out of way, the radio useing cat-5 plugs into a POE (power over ethernet) injector module and you power module and plug another cat-5 from module to your computer.
All in all I am very pleased with this company,
There California only and if your interested go to »www.cskye.com and check and see if its in your area, another nice thing they do is if you get there service and refere someone and they sign you either get 50.00 or they credit your account 50.00 for everybody who uses your name.
