I've been hosted by Ontarioweb for several years now and have brought them a number of customers. I was introduced to them by a fellow teacher who was hosting with them and highly recommended them. He was an IT-smart teacher and he was bang on the money. I found Ontarioweb's prices were reasonable to downright cheap for what you got, the hosting comes with a lot of bonuses I really liked, like mailing lists, support for various programming languages, etc... The thing that I've liked the most is the nothing less than *incredible* customer support. I especially recommend them for small businesses who produce their own webpage. We've had some ups and some downs; the server got hacked once, another server blew up and it took two days to get it all back up and running - I know that they worked over 30 hours in a different city over two days to get it going. The teacher who introduced me to them died suddenly and his wife (who was not a techy) was left stranded with no access to the website or emails - they were a tremendous help during this horrible time. Through it all, they have gone well above and beyond the call of duty, have always been there at the phone and email; if I don't have an immediate response, it is within the hour. I have called and gotten them while out on lake ontario in their boat! And they were STILL able to help me with that problem! On at least one occassion I called at 9 at night and ordered webhosting and a domain name - both were done and on line within the hour, the only delay being the migration of the domain name registration! I am truly sad to say that I migrated some of my websites over to another server (I am a reseller now), simply because of cost. However, I am making a point of keeping my original website hosted with them for the simple reason that I have been exceptionally happy with their services and cannot say enough good things about them. »www.ontarioweb.ca I will no doubt be bringing them more customers in the future.
