I'm not sure what company the other reviewers are talking about, but T6 Broadband is one of the better ISPs out there. I've never had any "unauthorized charges" on my bill, in fact, I've had credits from their billing department. The only time I'm ever without internet is the rare occasion there is an outage, and even then, it's back up within an hour or two. I'm confused by the review that states the support plan is "over $100/year". That person must've wrote that review for a different company. Yes, T6 does have a support plan, a couple of them to choose from actually. BUT, we're talking 6 bucks a month. That's not bad considering they have disinfected my computer 3 times in the last year of my service. Geek Squad wanted to charge me $100 just TO LOOK at my computer.

I rarely have any speed issues or connectivity issues at all.

Unfortunately, I had to move a couple of months back. Communistcast is all that is available in my area now. Guess what folks, they have a support plan too! There's is slightly higher than T6 support plans and they won't even come out and look at an issue unless you have the support plan. Isn't that nice of them?

So I ask the previous reviewers, how is your current ISP? I've literally thought about moving back out to the country so I could have T6 again. They care about people.

T6 BROADBAND THE WAY TO GO

AFTER CALLING COMCAST, I CALL THEN COM(CRAP) 3 DIFFERENT TIMES TALKING TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE, THE BEST I GOT AFTER BEING A CUSTOMER OF THEIR BUNDLED PACKAGE FOR 2 YEARS IS "SORRY ALL WE CAN DO IS INCREASE YOUR (ALREADY HIGH) RATE Of $ 129.99 BY $ 10 FOR MORE MOVIE CHANNELS..."

I HAD CALLED TO REDUCE THE RATES. not increase them!!!!!!

T6 IS $ $ 63.64 ($ 59.99 + $ 3.65 Tax) per month.
Add Dish with 200 channels for $ 53.99 ($ 37.99 + $ 10 dvr box + $ 6 regular box)

TOTAL: $ 117.63

Add a little tax for DISH and call it $ 125 per month.

Compared to Comcrap at $ 129.99 PLUS box fees and taxes

total is about $ 150 per month.

NO COMPARISON.

PLUS: even after DISH goes up to about $ 70 per month I am still at a total of about $ 135 or so equal to or less than Comcrap...AND T6 gives you three (3) AT&T phones for free!!!!

I needed high speed internet for my business use/working from home; I already had all of the equipment...ALL of it. I had called a few times to get an appointment, the specs about installation, etc. I specified that I had everything; didn't matter. I paid the full installation fee. At first I thought it would be worth the internet service...WRONG! Not long into my service, the sales calls started trying to sell me FASTER service... as if! I mentioned how happy I was with my current speed, also that I'd had no issues thus far (I'm 400 yards from the main tower). Then, the problems REALLY started. Day in and day out... sometimes I go days without internet... and I have broadband...when I have broadband! When I call the 'TECH SUPPORT', I am repeatedly told that for $89, they can come and find 'MY' issue! My significant other has his degree in IT/tech support... the issue is not MINE... it is the network, however, they will only come if the $89 is guaranteed first UNLESS, I get the 'Service Plan' ... which is, of course, more than a $100/year! Either way, they get money to come and 'look' to find that it is their problem. And as I read the reviews, I won't get my money back... T6B probably won't admit their faulty service!

I have been without internet for 7 days ...with almost no service for the better part of two months... I have not got reimbursed a DIME!

I WILL BE SWITCHING... this company is charging me money for service I'm not getting and costing me money in my own business for t he work that I am not able to do and forcing me to have to drive elsewhere to try to get any work done!

This is a company that you should avoid in my opinion. It has a lot of intermittent and slow connection times. They also are poorly run and organized. The only time you will get great customer service is from the SALES dept. The techs constantly said it was a "user" problem. Hmm...havent had any problems since cancelling their service and going with someone else. Also, beware. unauthorized charges will show up on your bill, and it always in their favor.

I've paid for a 3MB/3MB connection with 3 static IP's... The installation went smooth, and all the staff seem very good. Sales is sometimes slow to respond, but I've been put directly in contact with the owner of the company and he seems to be a pretty good guy.

Technically we are having issues... Initially I was getting a good 2.5MB connection... now however I can't get above 1.5MB for some unknown reason, and I'm suffering from literally an average of 50+% packet loss... I've been e-mailing support and the owner and will update everyone when I find out more... but my wife works online as a tutor and can lose her job if he internet connection drops to many students and is causing issues... so I hope they hurry up and fix the problem.

Initially, I had another wireless broadband provider, and because of a home improvement project, coupled with recent slow speeds and unreliability - I decided to make the switch to T6 Broadband. The night I decided I wanted to look into switching, I talked to one of their technical support representatives on their live chat. I was impressed to see representatives online at 9:30PM, my previous ISP did not have 24/7 support.

The support representatives I have spoken to have all been very professional and helpful in every way they could be. We called the office to schedule a site survey, and they were willing to setup a no-obligation site survey for us, since we had some special circumstances, what with the house being reroofed in the near future, among other things. Within the space of four days, T6 had convinced me to look into their service seriously, and was able to schedule a special site survey for my location, 24 hours from when I called their sales department. I was extremely impressed with the expedience and efficiency of their sales team.

I called them a week later and scheduled an installation. The installer did an amazingly professional job of running the cable. We told him we were reroofing the house - and he made sure the cable didn't even touch the shingles. He pushed it under the awnings and the siding of the house, and ran it with wire ties across the top of the gutter. It is ingeniously done, and I don't think the roofers will have any problems working around the cable. My previous Internet provider simply laid the cable across the roof, and didn't even secure it.

We had connectivity issues, since we didn't cancel our old service yet - as we wanted to ensure that T6 was for us. There was a connection problem, it was fast, but intermittent. I spoke to a support representative on Live Chat, and they scheduled someone to come out 48 hours later. The next morning, a T6 representative showed up at my door, told me my connection wasn't working properly, and asked permission to come in and fix it. He knew nothing of the live chat I had the night before - T6 is so proactively monitoring their network, that they actually found out on their own that my service was down, and came out quickly. I am still thoroughly impressed with that. He had some difficulty fixing the connection, but we later found out that was because my previous ISP's equipment was so poorly configured that it is generating random interference. Unplugging my old equipment completely fixed the connection problem, so this was in no way T6's fault, and I gave them a lot of credit for coming out and diagnosing my problem - at no charge to me. Fortunately, this connection is amazing - and I no longer need my old ISP's equipment!

I thought I had a really good thing going at my previous ISP, but now I wish I'd gone with T6 a long time ago. I was amazed at the speeds and latency. I thought gaming was smooth before, on my connection that averaged 60ms ping times. My new T6Broadband connection reaches an average latency of 30ms. My speeds with my old Internet provider were fast, as much as 4Mbps, but there were extremely restrictive limits placed on that speed. I upgraded to the 6Mbps plan from T6Broadband, and I am extremely satisfied! Even though I can only pull about 5Mbps from it, I feel I definitely get more value for the money, since there are no limits placed on this speed. The tower technicians are going to see about upgrading the tower, as the small access point I connect to is getting more customers recently. If that plays out, my Internet will get even faster. Even if that doesn't happen, believe me, the gold plan is still worth the money as far as I'm concerned. T6Broadband would be an upgrade from any local ISP. I compared them to all the local Internet providers, and there's just no comparison. In fact, although DSL is not an option where I live (nor is cable), I would stick with T6 even if they became available. I sincerely believe the Gold plan would be an upgrade for any Internet user, even if you already think you have really fast DSL or Cable.

I already referred one neighbor to T6, and I suspect that my other neighbors will quickly switch once their contract with their old ISP expires. I took the hard way - and chose to pay the early termination fee at my other ISP to get to T6Broadband. I definitely think it was worth it! I wish I had gone with T6 a long time ago. If you are considering getting service from them, just sign up, you won't regret it.

Thank you T6, for making my broadband a little bit broader, and a lot more reliable!

Unauthorized charges against checking account. They will not refund without seeing my actual bank statement. Billing department doesn't not answer e-mails or phone calls. However the sales seems well staffed and takes messages, go figure.

I was offered web space as part of my silver service. Which when I asked for a few months later was no longer available.

They can contact me to make this right.

I have the Motorola Canapy equipment mounted on a 60 foot rohn 25G tower.
First speed test gave 2600 down and 700 up.
Dynamic IP
Installation crew was on time, install took about 3 hours.
Installers didn't explain how to connect to the internet because of my past experience with computers.
I just signed on with a company from Belvedire Illinois, T6Broadband.com;
I had been with Direct Way for a couple of years and also SBC in Kane County.
I am extremely pleased with this company.
2 year contract but who cares, I am not going to be moving anytime soon.
If I sell the house and move to another location that they cover the moving charge is minimal.
Speeds are good.
They have several packages available and I chose the Silver package. 3000 down and 768 up (I think)
No complaints
If your in their coverage area you may want to check them out
