Five years of an average of 750 kbs download. Suddenly, last week, while Verizon is stringing fibre on my street I receive a letter from Comcast that my speed has been increased to a "blazing ..... 6 Mbps". I just did a speed test on dslreports and the "blazing speed" was 1.249 kbps. and "Compared to the average of 3717 tests from comcast.net: *download is 80% worse, upload is 16% worse" I cannot wait to try Verizon!
