I have always had problems with it. It was always slow and i noticed while playing Counter Strike that my ping was jumping between 250 and 400 continuously, so i called customer service. I told them that the connection was slow and they told me to do a bandwidth test from click2web and it was about 400kbps(that was about 4 months from january 2007, today it was at about 320 kbps). They literally told me that they didnt know what was going on and couldn't help me. I can't play games at all now and its almost as if I am using AOL again. Should be 4mbps but i get less than 1/8 of the speed i am supposed to get. Idk what their problem is, if they are lazy, lying, or what, but when my friend had problems like mine they went and fixed it immediately.

Gforce gives you a 4mB max download and 70-100kB max upload, but I can hardly ever top out and a lot of times my upload has been reduced to 5K.
They shape p2p traffic because "it uses 30 percent of our bandwidth". Excuse me, I pay to use the internet not just for http.
Customer service is ignorant and often rude. This is an independant company that is obviously run by people who do not know what they are doing.
Service goes out without warning, and when you call tech support they will deny that there is anything wrong. Service may return several hours later.
They try to blame their problems on bellsouth, the people they lease their ds3 lines from, but when I had bellsouth for the past 3 years they went down exactly twice. Both times were because of lines being down.
I'd recommend getting Bellsouth DSL over Gforce. It'll download slower but at least you will have a permanant connection and technical support that cares.
