Speed: 768/384 - I normally get about 70% due to the distance issue Price $39.95/monthly plus the required landline Order processing was quick once the service was available for my CO Currently a Paradyne DSL modem - a "long reach" solution that allowed them to remove a repeater from the circuit The service is now supported by the wholesaler so any service issues must first go through their 800 number - if hardware at my site a contractor makes the service call. If a CO issue the company's service people then step in. I've found the 800 help to be basically useless except for confirming a network problem, the contractors have been good, the CO service people are excellent.
update as of July 2, 2009 -
FTTH installed and I selected a promotional package with phone (unlimited nationwide long distance), internet and TV over fiber. This package includes 3 meg download (I'm getting actual 2.5 to 2.6), a good selection of TV channels (including HD). In a couple months when the actual billing is stabilized I'll update on pricing but the package is represented to be just less than $100/mo. with is a bit lower than what is was paying for DSL, POTS and satellite TV (no premium channels just like the current package). 12 month guarantee on price with no contract and no install charges.
Install took one day to plow the fiber to my house (contractors who did good work) and a half day the next day for the phone company techs complete the install (mine and my mom's next door). I live in an old house so the install was somewhat complex but was handled with a minimum of problems. No doubt the fact I could be here to watch over the total of the install helped - only in that I could answer questions about when and where not that the people needed watching.
Total install time from the day they started plowing the backbone along the county road has been about 6 months however from actual order to install was about 2 weeks.
The TV box is a Scientific Atlanta, the fiber related equipment is Zhone.
The process was relatively painless - even canceling my DirecTV (10+ year customer).
The only options I have here are either the phone company offerings or satellite delivery so I was very excited when FTTH was available.

Only one more bad point. They use local "agents" to diagnosis connection issues. They do not readily look at their equipment or lines as troublesome. You have to call the agent who is a local computer company. They have to rule out your computer as the problem before looking inward. Most computer noobs will end up paying $85 in fees to the agent.
They are prompt and have several plans available $29.95 to $79.95 (recently lowered from $99). Forever they were the best available. Adelphia here had cable internet but since it was Adelphia
Time Warner has swallowed Adelphia in this area. I would expect Yadtel.net to lose some customers to them. TWC does take responsibility for their lines.
I heard Yadtel is laying Fiber and they expect to deploy to some homes by 2010.
I use the 1.5/384 $44.95 and they seldom meet this. Usually 1100/220 and I am close to the dslam. They use a good modem/router.
