3G / cell towers not accessible where I live already reviewed satellite at this site What I like most about this only game in town is that if there are service issues, one can call them directly and get near immediate response. I have had a few issues with service dropping. They worked tirelessly to get it figured out. (partial success) My service still drops (dsl status light goes out) from 8p-3a - when for one year it worked fine. We haven't gotten to the bottom of this yet. But at least during the day (my virtual bz hours) are ok right now. member for 16.2 years, 31 visits, last login: 13.1 years ago updated 13.5 years ago
Mountain Cable, Internet Service and Telephone Service were installed shortly after we moved. The company is excellent to deal with and was very informative. The service has been excellent and we have been very happy. It also seems to be an excellent value and so easy to pay 1 bill for everything. So far so good, we certainly hope and expect it to stay that way. member for 16.6 years, 1 visits, last login: 16.4 years ago lodged 16.6 years ago
I only have one high speed internet option right now unless i went with satellite and that would be worse than what i have... The company i am with is a small town co op,for quite some time all they would give us was 1.2 meg down and 320kbps upload for like $61.95 a month with no other plans to choose from... Service was very bad when i first got it pings would go over 1000 ms at times and the connection was only pulling on average around 900 kbps with wild swings as low s dial up range...But over time they worked alot of the kinks out offered 3 new internet plans and that helped alot... Now their package consists of 3 meg down 768 kbps for $59.95 + modem rental fee mid package was 640kbps down 320 kbps up for $49.95 and the last plan was 320 down 128 upload for $39.95 high but hey their the only decent show in town for residental as of yet... However time warner seems to have ventured into my town selling bussiness cable and are coming to residental too yah!!!!Now my isp will have some competition after apparently locking out other would be dsl provider from coming in... Co ops have in the past been able to freeze other would be dsl isps out basically giving them a monopoly pretty well...So maybe my dsl provider will raise their internet speed, cut prices and offer better service... If not i plan on switching to time warner asap....For now if you live in my area morgan county and u want high speed internet and pricing isnt much of a issue go for it their pretty decent and the only good residental provider available right now... member for 17.9 years, 13 visits, last login: 16.8 years ago lodged 17 years ago
I have had dsl on and off with this company for about 2 1/2 years...their prices are high and their top package is 3 meg down 768 upload for like $59.95 before modem rental...When it works its good but i notice on sundays pings will start to go bad sometimes real bad 1000ms+ which is undesirable for gamers...All in all their usually good till sunday, and hey other than satellite their the only high speed in town....Time Warner where are you!!!!!!!!!!
