The price is including a phone-flat for the phone-network of T-Com Germany. The price could be a little lower. But - it´s the Mercedes of providers in Germany. The speed is good (16.000 kBit/s down/ 1183 kBit/s up) and is really existing. This contract includes a promise of service to solve technical problems within 24 hours.

The technical service improved significantly. The staff can solve many of problems there remotely.

Update (2011):
Two technical problems - the connection dropped, but it was solved within 10 minutes during the support call (free call number) and the other within 4 hours, it was a hardware-problem there.

I´m highly pleased with this provider. It still rocks.

Update (2011/2): I did upgrade to the new high-speed-connection called "Entertain Premium". Now the speed is 25 MBit/s down and 4 MBit/s up and it is including TV over IP with over 70 stations. In addition I have few HD stations. This offer include a media-receiver with built-in HDD for own recordings. And all streams can be in Full-HD. Very nice So I have all my communication-lines over IP with T-Com Germany and it still rocks.

Update (2013/07): It works and works and works. Have no issues here. It was a good decision to go with T-Com Germany.

I had an ADSL connection from T-COM since 3 years and the max speed i could get from it was 3mbit/s down and 384kbit/s up.(cost:45€//62$, including phone)
Reason: The indoor DSLAM was too far away from my home so i didn't have a chance to upgrade my connection to an higher speed.

That was until ~3 months ago, VDSL from a new nearby outdoor DSLAM came available and i could finally upgrade my connection to 50mbits/10mbits for roughly 15€//20$ more.
Which includes IPTV and an hdd-settop-box, because VDSL was only available in the "Entertain" packet.
(now after almost 3 months since i have it, they untied the VDSL-connection from their Entertain packet, which is about 5-10€ cheaper but without IPTV)
But I'm happy right now and HD-IPTV is great and worth the extra money anyways.

It also came with an VDSL-router but apparently it was an "older" version which couldn't handle 50mbits and topped out at about 35mbits.
No problem for me since I'm using a linux-router(fli4l, powered by an k6-2 400) anyways and set the VDSL-router to bridge.
(they don't send the older version out anymore, they upgraded it after i already got mine)

What i get out of it my connection is about 46mbit/s down and 9mbit/s up.

Now i finally got some speed and most importantly a reasonable upload-speed which i really appreciate when sending bigger files.
(I personally work on movies together with friends and thus need fast upload speed to get results to them really fast)
-> I can send a dvd-sized file in about 1 hour.

Pings are good/okay for online-gaming, they are about 18ms to the first hop compared to 8ms i had on my ADSL connection.
(Nothing compared to 3ms i had back in 2003 on my SDSL connection but that's another story)
I guess the relatively high interleaving-time is needed to get the 50mbits running over the old copper wires.

Flatrate for internet, iptv and phone(ISDN).
Phone flatrate doesn't count for calling mobile-phones.

16mbit/1mbit flat rate.

phone, DSL flat rate for €50. no additional charges.

very satisfied with service and bandwidth. i get full 16mbit down and 1mbit upload.

no disconnects, speed is as advertised, getting 15 to 16mbit down, and 900kbit to 1mbit upload, always.

On entry of contract, i´d get a free DSL-Modem and accessoires.
No extra costs for Hardware or shipping at Contract entry, pickup at Store in city.

if you check my speed test results you will see that I'm not joking... and to get full speed over the atlantic is no easy thing... it means that the provider is set up with very good backbone connections...
