about 3 days "Best value for the money, billing always accurate, techs know what they are doing" "No high speed service available (yet); might have to go with Verizon" "If high speed not necessary or on a tight budget --- get T Mobile"

Four years ago, I decided to go completely wireless and chose T Mobile. I have been a customer for about 4 years. From installation to billing, my experience has consistently been a very positive one...reminiscent of the good old days when telephone service providers cared about delivering a quality product by employing people who are well-informed and who like to work with customers. My previous service provider was only interested in trying to convince me to buy more expensive products I did not want even when I repeatedly stated I did not want to buy any. If T Mobile is ever able to buy its own lines then expand its product lineup, I will follow and the major players in the industry will have a run for their money!

5 lines, 1000 Minutes, Unlimited Messaging (TXT, Picture, Video), Unlimited Mobile to Mobile, Unlimited Data (1 line), Unlimited N&W.
I love T-Mobile. I rarely go anywhere where I do not get coverage. Granted I am not always on a T-Mobile operated network, but they have so many roaming partners now, its hard to go somewhere without coverage.
Call go through and sound great 98% of the time. Data could be faster, but for $19.99 unlimited EDGE and unlimited HotSpot access, what can you expect?
Customer service has always been nice and helpful.

about 3 days "100 up/33 dn Kbps with my new Nokia phone!" "Initial tech support for software configuration was horrible." "Good portable internet for a 2.5G phone."

Who in their right mind would use their cell phone as a USB modem? I don't know, but I need to while I'm transitioning residences!
My initial setup was difficult because of lack of training at T-Mobile technical support. It took three days to get a tech would could walk me through the correct configuration of the Nokia PC Suite software.
My older Nokia phone only gave me about dial-up equivalent bandwidth. But my new Nokia phone is giving me about 2.5 times dial-up equivalent bandwidth!
Good portable internet solution for my laptop without having to use Wi-Fi hotspots.

$20 per month about 1 days "Unlimited Data" "No 3g Yet/ High letancy"

My review is pretty much straight forward, I am not expecting a 6.0 megabit connection with a thethered Cell phone.
I pay $20 for unlimited data and hotspot..
So far for the amount paid, it is extremely reasonable , compared to other wireless data providers.
I wish it was 3g, but its not.. I am hoping that they do not change the prices once 3g data is rolled out here in South Florida.

I was with ATT before T-Mobile, SO glad I made the switch when my contract expired. The Blackberry rates are MUCH better and the BB Helpdesk is fantastic.

Just bought my own card from T-Mobile. $.01 at Amazon. A Sony Ericsson GC89. This one is slowww. About 200 Bps. I had Sprint PC card at work, which was much faster and cost $70 a month. Can't go wrong for the price.

Contract price not specified. "Free if you have a unlimited internet plan" "Connection around 100K Down and 20k Up" "Good for the price"

I read about tethered modem connections on pinstack.com and was very interested in trying it. As for speed I'm getting around 100 down and 20 up in the suburbs on the edge network but i've seen stories of people getting 200k download. Which i'm sure is possible if you live in the city. Installation was really easy i just followed the instructions i found on pin stacker it took like maybe 5 or 6 minutes to get up and running. As for additional equipment there was none. Overall experience i think it's great i going to use this as my back up internet when ever i'm not in a free wifi area on the road

Contract price not specified. "They are cheap, they don't really care how bad your credit is, SMS is cheap" "Their phone selection is garbage, their coverage area (nationwide) is ass, their data speeds are slow, their reps are dumb asrox" "Cheap, works when I don't leave the city, I shouldn't have screwed up my credit."
| Pre Sales Information: Install process: Connection reliability: Tech Support: Services: Value for money: (ratings below consensus)

Having screwed up my credit, I have little choice but to go with Sprint (yuck-o-rama) or T-Mobile, or prepaid. Use my phone too much for prepaid, so I went T-Mobile. Their reps are idiots, but thats probably the same everywhere. Their phone selection is garbage but thankfully their are GSM so you can buy unlocked phones of quality and use on their network (albeit still at their god-awful slow speed).
I'm not too interested in mobile web browsing, as I'm usually at a computer, driving, talking to someone, or otherwise too busy to be on my phone, so their slow network is fast enough for my phone calls, text messaging, and email. Its coverage is not adequate for my needs but I put up with it for the moment. The bill is low enough however I still think the mobile phone provider industry is taking the consumer for a ride charging for "airtime" that costs them nothing.
All in all, if you have no other recourse, T-Mobile is okay. Actually, if you never leave a large metro area and have no need for mobile data, T-mobile is fine.

$20 per month about 1 days "Cheap, great back-up, easy to set-up" "speed" "For the money, you get what you pay for..."

T-Mobile's data service is a great value at the just lowered to, $19.99. I would not pay the $29.99 they were asking for this service a month ago. When they dropped the price, I decided to go for it, especially since I just bough a new PPC phone. When on the road, it makes for a easy, cheap, secure way to get online, since most hotels charge $10-$20 a day for insecure internet service. T-Mobile makes it pretty easy to connect your phone to your notebook, and share the internet connection. A simple setting in internet sharing on the phone, and with a bluetooth adapter on a notebook and you are set. Just don't expect those blazing speeds you may be used to. I usually test around 150kps/35kps, better than dial up, but not suitable for anything but email, and web browsing. All in all you get what you pay for.

I use the T-MobileWeb (Called T-Zones by some). This is the internet-on-the-phone service. Users are prevented from connecting their computer to the phone because a web proxy. All a user must do is configure their web browser to use the web proxy and all is well. T-Mobile is a great phone service and I have never had any problems. I use a Motorola Rizr Z3 to browse the internet and call. I love T-Mobile. Highly recommended. One thing. The external IP is constantly changing. I have seen it bounce from California to the UK. And everywhere in between. I believe the other end of the dialup connection is in the UK, as the download speeds come from London.
