The speeds and service are great. More and more areas are being upgraded to EVDO- Rev A every day. I have only encountered one or two places in the country that I could not get any kind of connection and they were both way out in the sticks. I love this service so much don't think I could live without it anymore!

    10-27-08

Have had the service about 18 months now and still love it,have no complaints at all with Sprint or the service the offer. Still recommend it to everyone.

I have the Sprint fair and flexible 500 plan (Unlimited Text/Data, 500 minutes of airtime).
In a money saving effort I dropped my DSL line , and now use Sprint mobile broadband.
Unfortunately , Sprint no longer offers this plan.My wife also has the same plan it it works well for both of us.

Advanced Tech Support was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about solving the problem. Unfortunately, like most large organizations, they are just a small part of the puzzle and are limited is what they can see, do, and provide to the consumer. As a new subscriber to this service I would have expected to receive more prompt attention, especially while in the 30 day cancellation window of a 2 year contract agreement. If other new subscribers have this or similar experiences it can not bode well for the longevity of this broadband Internet service offering.

I have the Sprint Fair and Flexible plan for $30 per month. This includes 500 anytime minutes with unlimited nights and weekends starting at 7 PM. I also get unlimited messaging and data. This package can not be beat! Data speeds are usually around 1 MBit down which is perfectly fine for me as I really only use it as backup or if I am in an area with no Wi-Fi. I am always very cautious with my usage as there have been reports of users getting warning letters about using data on there phone without a Phone as Modem plan...so I will play nice.

I also have the Sprint Airave device which is essentially a mini-cell tower for your home that plugs into your router. Before this device, I had MAYBE 1 bar if I was lucky. I now have FULL service in my home.

The Fair and Flexible plan that I am on is currently discontinued for new customers at the price I am paying, so to say the least, they will have to pry this plan from my cold dead hands!

Customer support has always been great when i have needed to cal them about an issue.

I totally recommend Sprint cell and data services to anyone.

I have been on satellite for quite some time, (12 years) Direcpc, Direcway, Hugesnet, and Wildblue. There ok but you can't take them anywhere or move to another room without a hassle.
With the Sprint Mobile Broadband I can move from room to room or take it on the road. Its only been about 2 weeks and so far the only thing I had to do was order an external antenna. My speeds aren't what they were with satellite but the other benifits and the price @ $20.00 a month out-weighs it.
More after I get the antenna in and installed.

I have had it with SPRINT and there lack of service. I have been going through this for about 3 months and have had it.
I can't even watch news clips from my local station. I have been on the phone with these guys for a total of 7 1/2 hours.
I even got a new modem with the same results. I have changed everything on my system RWIN ect. with the same old crap.
I asked them at tier 2 about the tower and I gave them the site ID#. I am going to cancel my service with the reason that it Not As Advertised!

This is about 1/4 of what I got when I signed on with them.
    This is EVDO too....

Looks like I am going back to Wildblue unless they do something pretty dam quick.
At this moment I am ready to run over this dam modem With either the tractor or the horse and have him crap on it then send it back.
    Am I bad or what?

    Sprint...

I'm not even go into the problems I've had with Sprint but they seemed to go right into the crapper after locking me in for 2 more years...I've been with sprint pcs for nearly 10 years and have seen the bad and the momentary brush with good customer service a couple years ago...

Sprint sucks all around...I'm very close to chunking up the 300 (150x2) cancellation fees to dump these hack tards but it's not like people are saying stellar things about the other providers...Nobody cares anymore...

    good luck...

I had no other options for broadband. AT&T claimed there wasn't enough interest in my neighborhood. Time Warner said they weren't going to encroach on Country Cable (which has no internet service). I chose the unlimited package at $59.95 per month. I got true broadband speeds out of it, even played X-Box Live games on it. Then in May 2008, Sprint announced they were implementing a 5GB limit with some arbitrary (and secret) amount to charge each kilobyte over 5GB. I was using 10GB per month just playing online games. They have effectively killed my ability to play X-Box Live games. Looks like they are forcing me to throw away my $50 annual fee to Microsoft for gaming.

I'm kicking Sprint to the curb and will go back to dial up for email.

    My Other Reviews·Verizon Wireless B..
I signed up with the Sprint SERO plan almost 2 years ago, and I got a Motorola Q at the time. I really enjoyed the service from day one. I now have a Mogul PPC 6800. The highlights of the service are of course the price tag of $35 a month for 500 anytime, 7pm night and weekend, unlimited mobile to mobile and unlimited text and unlimited internet too. I have used the service almost non-stop from day one, and hardly ever had any glitches. I also noticed this provider has roaming agreements with Verizon and Alltel in very remote areas, and I do not get charged to use them for data and voice. I highly recommend the service to people, and have signed up 3 people myself without much trying. The plan sells itself, and people know they are always able to call me without a problem on my phone, so they know they will get just as good of service. I have, however, heard people complain about Sprint, however I don't understand why because I've not had any bad service from them. When I am connected to the phone via USB 2.0, or Bluetooth via USB 2.0, I get about 2.1 Mbps down, and 512 kbps up. I use this quite often as a tethered connection to the PC.

    Agreed

If you use WMWifiRouter with your Mogul tethering is not needed and multiple wireless devices can access your EVDO connection. I agree with your assessment, I've not a problem with Sprint's network either, great service here.

    Re: Agreed

I have used a few WiFi programs for this Mogul, they all work pretty good, but I am not a big fan of it, so I tether through Bluetooth or USB because when using the WiFi on the Mogul, it depletes the battery even while on the charger. You turn on the WiFi and wake up Pac Man, the battery monster.
