I looked at all the options I had but since I live out of town I was quite limited, this was the best choice. I am on the gold 16mb gold plan and pay 46.oo a month, I have been hooked up since the day Bend Cable turned Redmonds internet on 6 years ago. Through the rare problems and outages, I must admit that the customer service has been great, I would rate it an 8 at least.
The 100 gig cap sucks and I would leave BendBroadBand over it if I had a place to go. Basicly I am paying 0.46 per gig on my plan now and if they charged 0.46 per gig overage, I could live with that, but they are charging 1.5 overage which means they would rather see me gone.

Beginning July 08, BBB will set a limit of 10G per month of bandwidth. More than that you can upgrade or pay a $1.50 per G overage charge. Since I use Skype, Internet Radio, Netflix on-line, and Amazon (TiVo), these caps are expensive and excessive. Bye-bye Bend Broadband.

Bend BroardBand is a priviately owned cable company in central Oregon. They have been very good compared Comcast in the Portalnd area. They offer 4 mbps down 1 MBPS up and 6/1.5. I have the former at about $37/mo bundled with TV the latter $45. I have the first service and consistently run 3.7 / 0.9.
