I've had a cable connection from Dansk Kabel TV ("dk-tv" from now on) since they came to the city i live in (in 2003 AFAIR). Basicly its always up and running, even at a higher speed than i pay for. I've had a 8 MBit/512 Kbit for almost 2 years (and before that 4 MBit/512 KBit ) and i have tested it to download with 960 KB/sec from numerous sources.
I had a few minor issues with the connection reliability in the beginning, but after dk-tv issued me with a new cable modem (Motolora Surfboard SB5100) there has been no issues with reliability at all.
My only problem with this service is dk-tv's lack of product development. Apparently they are very satisfied with the service/prices they have right now as they havent changed for almost 2 years. Which is also why i have ordered a 10 MBit / 2 Mbit (ADSL2plus with annex M protocol) from another service provider
