So my family moved from the city to a country house. We us to get internet service through Comcast and it was great. As you can imagine, since we moved to the country, there were no cable or DSL service options. So we heard about a local ISP called CCA. We also learned that its available to us, but only wireless, since that was our only option, we went with it. They came to install it, telling us that once we download something and it gets over 5 MB downloaded, our download would be throttled. We figured, ok, it cant be that slow...wrong. Our advertised speed is 3.3 MP down, the highest ive ever seen is 150 kb/s, then once it surpasses 5 MB of the download, the speed gets choked to below 50 kb/s. It goes out whenever, bad or good weather, and is overpriced for the speed we get. Im told Frontier is available in my area for DSL, and im switching as soon as possible.
