TeleBlend took over Sunrocket accounts when the Sunrocket crashed and burned. My service was already active and that is why I have '0' days for setup. The service was some what shaky during July and August of 2007. I don't believe that I have experienced any outages during 2008. I have not had any problems or the need to contact customer service and therefore cannot speak of their performance.
It is now 2009 and I continue to be very pleased with the service. Due to a failing router in my home network, I had to reassemble my network and decided to try the AC211 immediately after my cable modem and before my new router. I was both pleased and surprised to see that I still get real close to the 15 / 2 speeds that my ISP provides.

As a Sunrocket customer left in the dust when they collapsed I took up Teleblend's offer to complete my Sunrocket term at a reduced rate. The e-mail sent to me by Sunrocket's liquidators said I could keep my equipment and everything would switch over automatically. In reality it did. I've never had to do more than unplug my Sunrocket emblazoned Gizmo a few times and my service has continued. They've had outages and continue to. I've been with them a month and I have been without service for two days and the service is out again as I type. Teleblend needs to get their act together and soon if they want to hold onto customers. When the service is up the quality is good - as good as Sunrocket ever was. You get what you pay for and my hope is that Teleblend rights there listing ship and irons out the inherent bugs in a new provider quickly and I can go back to not worrying day to day whether my phone is going to work.
UPDATE: It has been 3 weeks since I first posted my review. I still have an issue with one number I try to call and I don't always hear it ring even though it does on their end but I just recently submitted a trouble ticket for it so we will see if and how quickly I get a resolution to it. Other than that my service has been stable, reliable and of great quality. I am not a heavy phone user (a couple dozen calls a week tops) but I do use long distance and local calling - no international. In reading the forums I am not alone in my satisfaction but I appear to be in the minority. Then again, people who are satisfied with their service do not tend to post "good job" messages to the forum. Anyway, YMMV but if you want cheap VoIP give them a try.
UPDATE: October 6, 2007. My only ticket has been resolved and my services from Teleblend now compare with or are better than what I had with Sunrocket. I have updated my review as appropriate.
UPDATE: June 26, 2008. I've not had any issues with Teleblend in months. The phone is rock solid. Call quality is great. They've finally announced the acceptance of new customers so we will see how things go with that.

I've had much less grief with TB than I had with SR. My service has only gone out a few times and was recovered every time with a reboot. Haven't experienced any outages as with SR. For $15/month, I feel this is the best service for me at the moment.

Since the move there has been some pretty big hiccups. There is not doubt about that. Though, once everything had calmed down, things are very smooth. I have had no problems making or receiving calls. The website looks like the old one, but I really don't use any of those features, and what do I care its the same as before.
I'm happy as long as I don't have to pay more than what I would have at Sunrocket or anywhere else.

I guess that I am one of the few that have had a decent experience with Teleblend. I had dropouts in service in the first few weeks, but lately the service has been great.
I noticed today that they have finally moved the account management from sunrocket.com to teleblend.com. Although, now you have two login links on their page one to the dippy teleblend account manager and the other to a modified version of the Sunrocket account manager.
I haven't had any experience with tech support so I'll rate them at 50%.
I'm still in the wait-and-see camp for now.

Contract price not specified. (month by month)
"ImmediateTransition from SunRocket, Voice quality is fine"
"As of 7/22/07, No voicemail or extended features available"
"For $15, its a no brainer for an ex-Sunrocket user to buy some time. There's no commitment. Hopefully it pans out shortly"

So I can't decide what service to permanently move to from SunRocket.
I am still very upset with Vonage for their termination fees after I cancelled due to voice quality problems - which turned out to be my Comcast HSI connection.
I've been waffling between Packet8 and ViaTalk not wanting to deal with porting issues. Then TeleBlend comes in and takes over my Sunrocket service and offers $13 monthly service for the extent of my contract offering the "same services"
The problem is, I have no voicemail, no forwarding, no follow me features, no call logs...
The only thing online is very basic payment and password options.
Here's their claim from the website
"TeleBlend Internet phone service offers you outstanding customer service along with all of the products and features of SunRocket."
On the positive, I have ringtone, people can call my old phone number and the voice quality is good.
On the negative side, it's a wait and see as far as how long it takes them to establish voicemail/extended features. I assume they will be taking over Sunrocket's infrastructure considering they have nothing today and are advertising "all the features of SunRocket".

| Re: sunrocket Thanks,
Call forwarding and CDR does still work through the Sunrocket interface.
Voicemail is not yet available. They have a message on their website saying "Friday or Monday" to have Voicemail up. Pretty lame that they would not say "Friday or Saturday".... If this doesn't warrant them to work on the weekend, I'm not sure what would.

| Teleblend I too am a Sunrocket victim that went with TeleBlend. So far, it's been AWFUL! I can't call out and only can get incoming calls. Their customer service is barely there and they have been unresponsive to my problem. I may have to go back to Ma Bell before this is over. What a nightmare! | |

| TeleBlend isn't bad Call me crazy but I must go against the flow, so far so good. My family says that SR phone sounded alittle like a walkie talkie (not a true 2 way conversation) MY TB already is getting noticed as a better quality phone call If they handn't picked such a goofy name I'd be inclined to stay on, but it's hard to think they'll be along for long....who named this company | |

| Teleblend Sucks...A Scam Company...No Service..Locked Gizmo I went to Teleblend after Sunrocket
I Paid on 7/19 and havent had service since. 4 tickets to service, other emails even to CEO and 4 calls. Its a scam. Same company as Sunrocket under a different name.
They shrunk the service lines, still no voicemail, they changed the passwords on the Gizmos so that you cant go to another provider with the linksys sp2102 box. Its a Scam, Teleslam service.
I canceled and back to the credit card company for another dispute.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

| Re: Teleblend Sucks...A Scam Company...No Service..Locked Gizmo In my opinion Teleblend is trying to scam ex-Sunrocket customers. I switched over since Aug 01st. But all this time I was still getting service from Sunrocket and not Teleblend. As soon as Sunrocket turned off their service on Aug 06th or 7th by phone stopped working.
Their tech support does not know what to do. Absolutely unhelpful. They even blame customers for signing up with them - saying too many customers signed up so we can not provide service to all of them.
i have called thrice about my phone not working and each time the tech blames the previous tech that he/she did not get all the information needed and that was the reason my problem was not resolved. What a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far, the service is awful. Caller ID is not working, the International calls terminates itself every 10 or 5 minutes. Most of the time, only outgoing calls allowed. Everytime somebody calls my phone, it goes to the voice mail without ringing my phone. STAY AWAY from this company.

| Give us a break Ok I know you guys are pissed off,I am too and I work for the company, because I'm not told whats going on with lines and why things are not working. But give the Customer Services Reps a break. Most of us were not there from the beginning, and there was no training for me. We are doing are best to relay the message. I have gottin so much better at taken calls and information from experience. So I know your pissed but dont shot the messenger. We handle any where from 3,000 to 14,000 calls a day so if can try and keep your cool. We would be so great full. | |

| Re: Give us a break plplpl,
I have a number of tickets logged and the range of CSR's goes from those who attempt to be helpful to those who are just rude. I don't believe any of the Telebland CSR's can do more for a caller than to LOG a call or mark a previous call URGENT. This is a horrible situation that Teleblend has placed you into. There never seems to be any status update available on an previously logged call. There is no way to be passed to any Technical Support to review an issue. Most of the time, your immediate Supervisors are taking and logging calls too. There is something wrong with this picture!
Although you (CSR's) do take the brunt of the anger from dissatisfied customer, you do have to realize that there is no one else to vent our dissatisfaction and frustration to. NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK!!! Just imagine taking your car to the local dealer and being told 30 days later that they are still working on it but they have no information to date to provide as status, AND, no repair completion date is available....
I truly hope Teleblend gets their act together soon or they might not be in the VOIP business much longer......
| Hello
@comcast.net
| This is the fix Just imagine people trying to get the service to work for 2-3 months. Hello, Can you hear me, go to another provider! This company is not setup to take all of Sunrocket's customers. Cancel the account instead of waiting 10-30 days for service and find another provider! Simple as that......... | |

@comcast.net
| Teleblend - Worst CS experience ever
I switched over when SunRocket went belly up. I get working caller ID, I get incoming rings (but I cannot answer) and I dial, but no call is placed (fast busy signal). I have opened so many tickets, yelled at so many people, have been promised on numerous occasions refunds that never came. I asked one CSR when I could expect a call back from tech support and was told he couldn't tell me. I asked him to ballpark what the expectation might be. 2 hours? "don't know", 2 days? "don't know", 2 weeks? "don't know", 2 months? "don't know", 2 years? "don't know", 2 decades? "don't know". Yes, I lost my cool and called him a scumb@g, but he deserved it. I am now trying to port the number back but I have low expectations on that. These guys ought to be prosecuted. I will be calling those numbers (in Maine) a previous poster gave of those people who own the company daily until I get refunds and will not stop until I do. Don't walk, RUN from these b@stards!
