I have been on sprint mobile broadband for the last 2 years, and hated most every minute of it. I found a company called zone jet that was offering wireless in my area and was waiting on my sprint contract to end. Unfortunatly the owner of that company suffered from a death and they were no longer an option. A couple months later I got an email from a guy named brian asking if I was still interested in wireless internet. After several emails back and forth I finally just decided to go for it and pay off my sprint contract. I ordered the service on friday and was installed on thursday. Installer was very professianal? took his time to make everything look really good, and explain anything I didn't already know. Speeds are hitting 1.5 to 2.0 dl and as much as 1.2 up, so I am more than happy with the service. This is only day one so I will do a 20 day update for reliability

may 20 2011- service has been in and out for the last 3 days, comes up with extremly bad pings, low speed, then drops again. Have made multiple calls to the tech support which btw is only open m-f 8-5, and have not received any calls back about the issue, nor have I had the problem fixed. I use the connection for gaming, and finance, bills etc. This is not the first time I have had this issue, and unfortunatly no other option is available to me. be forwarned this is getting to become something of a habit

you cannot go wrong with this

Aug 31, 2009 update:

A bit late on the update, but things are hectic....Well, about day 5 the receiver went out and I lost connection with the main tower. Called tech support and got a human voice, (something that is not seen often) told me they would be out next day to fix it, that evening, the tech showed up to find the problem and found the boc had gone out. He mad a couple calls, and in about half an hour brian was here working to put the new box up and to set it back up for me it was now after 6pm. Everything was up and running in less than 2 hours and speeds were still better than expected. I run 4 computers a laptop a linux box, xbox 360, and wii on this connection and can game on anyone of them without issue, I dl'ed open suse in 3 hours, and windows 7 rc in about 4 so speeds are in line or better than expected, I can not say enough good things about the service at all

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK HIGH SPEED TEXAS

update:
speed test are showing great! xbox live works with no hitches most of my ingame pings are 25-20 so I cannot complain

so far so good

so we started having issues with the service on 7/21/2010 with speed tests and pings going crazy

[ todays as noted above are better, but I wonder what all the issues were they were here on friday an hour late, and then told me it was "acceptable" my question is how is that when all along I have had pings in the low 40's and 50's , and now there aboe 200 most times. the tech replaced the antennea dish with an 11 db instead of the 6, and finally saw the pings I was talking about, when he left he said he was going back to the office to see what the problem could be.... let you know what happens IF I get a call back

wow

I really like that ping you are getting. Do you have any data caps? Also what kind of equipment do you use? Ive never seen what kind of equipment they use for this type of wireless internet. It would be great to see some pics if possible.

Thanks.

Re: wow

the equipment is just a simple canopy radio system I will snap a pic of it in the morning for you. Other than that just a POE that injects the power to the radio and I have that plugged straight into my router.

This is a great change from DSL and Cable. This product is much faster (regularly over 5Mbps), more reliable in my opinion, and I never experience traffic on the pipe. They use a Motorola Canopy system that requires line-of-sight for best speeds. My location had no problems. Highly recommend.
