Value for money:

I didn't have any options for broadband in my city, so I am stuck with this ISP, they work mainly where there are no other options for broadband. I got a 600kbps connection and their price (including public IP) is absurd, $150,00 a month. (~R$300,00). The other available broadband here is Velox. Their price is about $75,00 for a 1mbps connection, I'd pick them if I could, but they use adsl and I'm too far away from them.

Now, what pisses me off about Taho is their QoS or priority system for ports. Excluding 80 and a few others, every external port is hindered to a point they aren't usable at all. The RTT on those ports range from 1500ms to complete stall/reconnect while using an icmp ping, I get around 215-300ms with a 1500 packet (including headers, obviously). So basically, I'm lucky if I get past 0,5Kb/s on any uncommon port. Meaning, no streaming radio, no gaming, no webcam, no voip, no p2p, no file transfer, nothing but stupid browsing which I rarely do anyway. This priority system is also -not- mentioned in their contract, I will make sure to sue them as soon as I can get rid of them.
