I've had ITP (itp4you.com) service for about 6 weeks since porting from Teleblend. Porting was done in 10 days (had to re-fax the requested form as they said they didn't receive it the first time). Support has been OK. I've had 2 trouble tickets resolved in a day of submitting them (neither one was critical). One trouble issue was a slowdown of my internet browser. A tech person emailled me help and called late in the day and we re-arranged the hookup of adapter to modem and computer. Problem solved.
I intend to remain a customer of the 500 minute plan which is advertised as $9.99. Actual last bill was $15.23. I didn't print out the Terms of Service but I guess that's where additional fees are stated.
Again, as of this date (09/27/07) I would recommend ITP.
UPDATED: As of November 2009 I am still a customer and service has been reliable. I have not had any problems. The only loss of service was due to loss of cable and only for a few hours. Would recommend the 500 minute plan if that meets your need.

| The fees and Taxes? Nice Review. I almost went with these guys a while back. Anyway, in section Q it says "Any customer of ITP that is billed by ITP will be accessed a $1.99 E911 and a line fee in addition to a $0.99 gross receipt surcharge"
But that does not account for the rest to get to $15.23? I would think you want to know that. I am curious as to what is the extra $2.26 for exactly?

I have the same service. My bill is $15.07. The itemized charges are $1.99 for E911, $1.10 for universal service fee, and $1.99 for the "ITP line fee". This hidden fee is about the only thing I don't like about the service.

Without having to sign a yearly contract and selling you a good Cisco SPA 2102 router for 34.95 with a monthly fee of only about $11 a month after taxes, with E911 service I find to be a great deal. The router comes pre-configured from them so all you have to do is plug it into your router behind your own firewall, and hook up your normal type POTS telephone and away you go. I have had no issues, or any kind of trouble from them at all.
Great company, NO CONTRACT, and a great monthly rate.
Saves me $45 a month over AT&T's POTS service, just switched over to DSL w/o voice and combined with my cell bill to keep my discount. This is the way to go.

"Very good call quality.... So FAR"
"the 1.99 line fee that is is hidden in the small print, Its not 9.99 for the 500 min plan, its 11.98"

The call quality is very good, way better than VOIP.com. I got the 500 min plan for $9.99. Turns out its 11.98 plus tax and E911 fee. The order and install was very easy. They use Linksys equipment. I will try them for a year and see what happens.

Don't bother with ITP VoIP, its one step away from FRAUD. They have not listed a physical address and their business hours are unknown as of March 25th 2009. Although ITP VoIP states the order will take 1-3 days to process and no longer than 7 days to receive your equipment, your order will not get processed until a telephone number is assigned for you. If you cancel your order because you cannot wait any longer for ITP VoIP to assign you a telephone number, then be ready to have severe headaches. Even though you haven't received any equipment, service, and your account has NOT been activated they will SCAM you $29.95 activation fee.
No one goes out of their way to write a bad review, however do NOT believe those good reviews on other websites because most likely ITP VoIP employees wrote them. The only reason I ordered their Plan is because of those good reviews that I read on those website and now I am going out of my way to enlighten the public about ITP VoIP.

Here's a ticket I opened with them:
My service has been very unreliable in the last few days. People have been unable to call me (I confirmed with my cell - fast busy or my vm box). I have been unable to get a dial tone. Sometimes resetting the ATA fixes it, sometimes the ATA just has a blinking green Line 1 light. My internet connection has not been going down. As I'm typing to you, I have a blinking line 1 light and no dial tone. Fix it ASAP and I want 1 month of free service.
Here's the response I received 5 days later:
Dear Roop, - Are you having dropped calls? - Quality issues? - Inbound or outbound calls failing? Please provide an example of the problem you are reporting. Include the telephone number and the time the issue occurred. Without this key information we cannot look into the request any further. Melvin ITP Technical Support 888-487-1110 (US) 888-548-8820 (CA)
They didn't even read my email before they responded. I was very clear to them. This issue usually happens once a month with itp. Typically it only lasts a couple hours. I'm cancelling them after my free month. I cannot recommend this service to anyone.
