Fantastic broadband 24 hrs 7 days no problems good speeds getting 8.1 meg really pleased with service cant wait for 24mb . Have had problems with physical telephone line and fast technical engineers phoned telecoms company btopenreach every hour until they had an engineer out to repair the fault.
fast engineers talked me through the process explained the costs incurred if the fault has to do with my modem/router or equipment, they directed me to every avenue to check to make sure the fault was not at my end very precise in their methodical manner, I would be extremely surprised if anyone couldn't follow their help. Two days later btopenreach engineer arrives finds a fault but can't repair in allocated time so rearranges to come back with a tbc return visit. I informed fast technical guys and they were told that there wasn't a fault according to btopenreach . fast.co.uk technical engineer guided me through a couple of simple tests and they confirmed there was a fault. fast engineer got straight back onto btopenreach reported that the fault still existed and continued to keep me updated with phone calls and text messages until bt engineer arranged a revisit 2 days later. On the day the engineer spent most of the day running a new cable and completed by late afternoon .It took 3 to 5 days for speeds to settle and now have a perfect 8mb broadband service . All of this courtesy of fast.co.uk.
By the way btopenreach engineer was also extremely helpful as well, had the same engineer on both visits.
Cheaper broadband is available but you lose quality of service ,pound for pound fast.co.uk are good but like all things in life if you wish good reliable professional service it costs and fast.co.uk costs are reasonable . I recommend anyone who likes true unhindered broadband give these chaps a call you won't be disappointed.......Raj.P

I t would be impossible to find an ISP that pays attention like Fast do. Anyone looking for ISP would do well to go with Fast. They ring and email back almost instantly.Tech support pays attention like no other support could.
Edit; Speeds disappointingly slow presently. Getting 1 to 2 MEG on up to 8 MEG connection. ISP suggestion is my wireless network not working properly.
Edit; Have moved on from this ISP to new company named »www.plus.net.

Excellent all round service, virtually no down time, fast 4gb and I am at the far end of BT line from my exchange.
The $45 is a representation of the £22 a month UK cost.
Not the cheapest ISP, but IMHO the best for service, up-time, speed and contactability (they are in the UK and speak English as their first language) and they will call you back if necessary and they answer their messages - even at weekends!
As far as I am aware, at my level of spend their is no capping or 'fair useage' etc. I design websites and do some beta testing for a few software companies, so whilst I do not download movies etc, I do download and upload a lot of data each month.
All in all, if money is not your most important factor, but reliabilty and speed is, then fast.co.uk are well worth the money!

I could not believe that it only took 7 days to be up and running.That was the quickest by far of all the ISP's I have had over the years.I have had not one problem in all all the time I have been with them.If I do happen to run into any problems I know I will be put directly through to their office,not some call centre in a foreign country.Also it would be at the local phone rate,not the usual premium rate.I am paying £22.99 a month for a max speed of 8mb/s,in reality I get around 4 to 4.50 mb/s which I am more than happy with.There are cheaper ones out there,I have tried 2 of them and I was waiting months to be connected on both of them.In the end I had to cancel them.Bottom line is if you want to be connected quickly and surf hassle free I would highly recommend this ISP.
