Cinergy MetroNet offers Fiber to the Home. I'm getting 15 meg down / 1 meg upload for $33/month! I've had then for 6 months now and haven't had any outages. There are no contracts to sign, and free installation. You cannot go wrong. Only problem is they are a very small company offering service in very very few cities.

I am beta testing for Lighttube. This is our local service that has internet tv and phone. The internet service I am testing now is $37.95 for 10 down and 1.5 up. The average speeds are between 4 and 11 down and around 1.3 up. I will do a complete review when the service goes live to all.

56k with a web accelerator that actualy works ok. Eventually I will get some pie in the sky broadband..but for now I can surf. You remember 56k don't you? No Utube or any other video sites for me.
