Internet is okay but VoIP service is not worth getting

The process to have the internet connection established was a nightmare with several technical issues with dry DSL connections, Bell number/account transfer, and internet disconnections. The first couple of months of service was extremely poor. The most notable was the horrendous quality of customer service ranging from lack of knowledge to unprofessionalism. However, despite the irritating hassle of fighting to make them get the service up and running, there have been no problems since. The internet speeds have been usually consistent (ACN offers up to 6 mbps download speeds. Speedtest shows over 4 mbps). The unlimited data in an era of capped usage makes it easy on the wallet.

The VoIP service was so poor that we had to revert back to the landline phone (still provided by ACN). The number of dropped calls became intolerable. The call quality was also unacceptable. The cheap price for VoIP was not worth the value provided.

The original VoIP with unlimited high speed internet service ordered was $36.99 (plus taxes). Now we pay $37.99 for the internet with $21.99 phone landline with call waiting (no voicemail, call display or 3-way).

VIDEO PHONE YOU CAN SEE THE PERSON
PHONE VERY EXPENSIVE.. BROADVOICE HAS SAME SERVICE FOR MUCH LESS
WORST PHONE EVER.. VERY BAD SERVICE AS WELL

This is a horrible company.. It's a joke.. There customer service is a horror.. i canceled my verizon line to go with them, i run a business out of a basement apartment apparently i have no cell phone service.. They stood me up without service for a whole week during labor day week which is one of the busiest time for me.. I have a meat company.. My loss was on the hundreds of dollars.

They told me they were short on techs due to the holiday.. buy yea they charge $40 bucks a month opposed to 29 advertised .

I'm disgusted with this company.. i want to make a you tube video smashing this crappy video phone with a sledge hammer.

Thats how much i feel about this horrific company and their services..

thank you BUT no thank you ACN

Free router, just paid for shipping, friendly tech support
pre-charges your credit card 1 week before bill is paid
Better than Charter (my local ISP) for VOiP phone as far as price & support.

Have only had to call them 3 times in 2 years, twice for tech issue with time setting on VOiP router, and once for a billing issue. Other than that, great service. Charter wanted over 40.00 in my area for their service.

The ordering process was smooth, and I received my router within 2 days, and was up and running in less than 5 minutes. They supplied a Linksys VOiP router, with everything needed for set-up. I disagreed with their tech staff on where to install the VOiP router with my existing router, so I did it my way and it still works.

Worked like a champ
Disconnected at 12.40 am

I got in a multi level voip deal with ACN.I was off traveling next morning saw emails sent at 12.47 am saying you have a credit card problem ,got another email sent at 3.16 am saying my service had been turned off.My credit card company said nothing was turned down on my card. They would not even discuss what happened said I must up date my credit card before I could disconnect my service.Needless to say I was mad ,so I updated my card and had all service turned off ,today I got another emailed bill. These people are braindead. If they had given me time to up date my card and not turned it off in the middle of the night ,I would still be a customer.
