I've been through many DSL providers, and this installation was the easiest and quickest one yet. I submitted my order before we had even moved into our apartment. I got a personal email telling me that because there was another person at that apartment, with their own telephone service, that she couldn't order mine yet. But she kept a close eye on the Verizon database, and ordered it as soon as she could. She kept me informed all along the way, and answered my questions in a very timely fashion. I received my modem before I had my DSL - and the DSL was up and running the day before it was due. Everything worked as soon as I plugged it in!! Of course I can't comment on the long-term, since it's only my second day with them. But so far I have no complaints. I ordered the 1.5/128 for $49/month - but am too far from the CO (DISTANCE: 13400'), so I have 768/128 for $46/month.
It includes: INTERNET SERVICE with L A BRIDGE INCLUDES: 2 IP addresses (allows 2 different computers on the same DSL line) No PPPoE frustration Ability to run your own password protected server 24/7 DSL connection 1 pop email account (activated upon request) 6 Mb Personal Web space (activated upon request) Virus & Spam quarantine. No lost e-mail! ($1 extra) Global roaming when you travel (iPass - activated upon request) 20 hours of free dial-up access in Los Angeles for laptop users who are sometimes away from their DSL line (activated upon request) Ability to build a free VPN connection between two locations served by LA Bridge (So. CA). Supports Windows, Mac, Linux Dynamic IP
I've never had ASDL before, always SDSL
Modem (WireSpeed) and installation are free with a 1 year contract.
No one had to come to the house - it was all self-install.
I am one happy customer.

i've been with LaBridge DSL service for only a shprt time, but the service has been excellent.I have waited over 4 years to get DSL at my home and now that I have it I can't imagine not having it. The people at labridge have gone out of their way to provide all the help I needed to make the transition to the 21st century.
Thanks
jon

This was my first experience with DSL. A friend suggested I check out LA Bridge. Their prices were resonable (they all seem to be roughly the same price) but what made LA Bridge difference is the customer service. For some people with more computer experience that might not mean as much, but for someone like myself with very little computer/on-line experience it make all the difference in the world. From setting up the system, to maintaining my account, LA Bridge is a stand up company that I fell very comfortable in recommending!

After going through many different broadband services in the past for my business which has two locations, I think i found the one i will stay with. I have two locations within the los angeles area for my business and i was provided with an exceptional package to provide connectivity for both offices. my business needs was pretty specific with regards to hi-speed, vpn, hosting, static ip's etc. and they were able to provide a nice package that's cheaper than most other isp's i checked out in the area.
The folks at LABridge provided such excellent service throughout the setup and installation of my connection. instead of getting the usual runaround from most other service providers, i am walked through a very friendly team customer support peope which seemed to be very available at all times of the day.

I AM SET UP TO HAVE MY DSL LINE WITHIN ABOUT 12 DAYS FROM FIRST CONTACT I WILL KEEP IN TOUCH HERE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES.
SO FAR IT HAS BEEN OK THEY HAVE ALLOWED ME TO USE THE 20 HOURS OF FREE DIAL UP BEFORE THE DSL IS IN AND I HAVE INQUIRED ABOUT THE LIMITED WIRELESS THEY HAVE IN MY AREA AND I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY THEM AND THEY HAVE GONE OVER THE WIRELESS SYSTEM IN MARINA DEL REY AREA IN DEPTH OVER THE PHONE WITH ME.
install went well but they wont allow kaza with out extra cost even if i dont upload orginally i was told it would be extra $20.00 for me to use my server but one of the tecs it would be $40.00 for my level of service so i must clarfy this as i will be moving my server next month.
see post below i have changed to other provider because of all the hassle about kaza, servers, and wireless sharing. now better speed for same cost 1500/728 "almost a t1 with speakeasy.net
i now get 6.0/768 and can do what ever i want with speakeasy for $99.95 its great....!

I am a former Directv customer. I didn't want to follow the default switch to Verizon (among other things I didn't like their plans with static ip) and after some research discovered LA Bridge. Per Directv's instructions, I cancelled my service and then contacted LA Bridge They kept me appraised of progress throughout and had me back up in seven days. There was a glitch in that I ordered 1500 kbps from LABridge but Verizon apparently switched all former Directv customers over at 768k no matter what. Again, LABridge diagnosed the problem and responded quickly. They provided a temporary fix and worked with Verizon to solve the problem permanently. The kept me informed during the process and the problem was resolved quickly on the day promised.
I wasn't unhappy with Directv yet - my service had been reliable. But Directv had virtually no flexibility if you wanted more services (additional static ips, more bandwidth, etc). LA Bridge provides far more options - more than I'll likely ever use. But it's nice to know that I have some choices now. I've only been with them for a couple of weeks now so there is a limit to the amount of praise I can heap on them but the service I have recieved so far gives me a great deal of optimism for the future.

I had Verizon DSL and it was so unreliable I hesitated to use e-mail for time sensitive work related stuff. I stumbled on LABridge in a search for a new provider who would give a static IP for a reasonable price.
I took the shot and so far I am so pleased!!!
They provided very practical guidance in getting loose from Verizon. When I did my self install I had a problem so I emailed a question. The next morning the phone rings and it is LABridge customer support and they already had the phone company on the line to troubleshoot my problem. Hear this: THEY CALLED ME.
When I have called the help line a human connects within minutes. The email response to questions has always been next day.
All in all my experience has been almost perfect, which is more than I would expect in my wildest dreams
