No longer use, not a customer.

10/22/09 - no longer at this location, but overall experience was very positive. A little spendy for 1.5 mbs @ $49/mo. But other than dialup or satellite it was great. Though I was unable to complete the 24 mo commitment, they prorated the ETF fees in a very generous manner.

Service from the Co-Op was excellent.

Actiontec DSL modem. Did a self-install and it was a breeze. Located the Netgear wireless AP/Router, plug in all the wires. Then plug in the Actiontec modem, wait for it to fire up and then attach the Ethernet from AP to modem and from AP/Router an Ethernet wire to A Box.

Wireless was to Dell Laptop w/ Intel 2200 running XP Pro [all updates] and Box is home rolled with Windows 2000 Pro [all updates]

1.5 down/ 512k up. Running tests bear this out.

I did try dialup a few times and was getting 49k+ on same line.

Even though this is a small member owned Phone Company in a small part of Oregon, everyone I have come into contact with has been superb. The Cooperative was started in 1904 and covers Oregon City and its suburbs and Beavercreek and its suburbs. Service has been updated all the time, especially when Comcast started to lay cable in the Co-ops Territory.

I do miss Comcast Speeds, but I sit on 5 acres in a house built in 1909 and since renovated. We sit on a hill and can sit and watch the sun set.
