I would like to place my honest and heartfelt opinion on this complete and TOTAL joke for an internet service provider!
It is an abomination and an embarrassment to all high speed services everywhere. I am actually insulted it has the nerve to call itself a high speed service when I know of free dial up services that run faster than this utter piece of bile!! They aren’t even providing my household with the speed in their contract anymore, and a lot of days our speed tests show that they are giving us almost a halved amount of the speed promised in the contract. their answer is if we don’t like it, we can use someone else, and that they know the tower for our area needs to be updated but they aren’t going to do that! I think they are a bunch of cheap jerks, and would rather pocket the extra cash than maintain their joke of a internet service! And since my household is in Coronation Alberta, which is dirt smack in the middle of NOWHERE we don't even have any other high speed services. (Oh there is explorenet; but they make everyone in town share the same IP address! Just pathetic!!!) They can get away with screwing us over because of our location, and they totally and definitely do! Its gotten to be so pathetic that when using facebook or e-mail they claim that I am draining their internet, when you can't load e-mail and facebook that is just ridiculous! Again and they call themselves a high speed service!? What a slap in the face!!! Dial up can do that easy!!! I am happy to say I am moving in 2 weeks from now and wont have to put up with their putrid and disgustingly slow joke of a "high speed" anymore. Don't use these guys they just SUCK. And also I HATE them!!! Worst high speed I have ever seen! Do yourself a favor and don’t use them!

Wild Rose is a provider of wireless internet services to rural communities
in Alberta. I have been a customer for over a year and have found them easy
to deal with and their service, whilst not as fast as cable or DSL, is
adequate. Wild Rose is the only ISP to provide service to many rural
communities in Alberta. Their helpdesk is significantly better than some
local providers!
Download Speed: As high as 3 Mbps, normally 1.5 Mbps, sometimes lower.
Upload Speed: Normally 500 kbps but has been as low as 50 kbps for long periods.
Wild Rose provides their own speed test page that does not show upload
speeds. I have been using speedtest.net but now find their DNS servers
redirect that IP to their own page. I consider this to be poor public
relations and offensive in a country that prides itself on openness and free
speech.
