I have their 10/2 package which was upgraded and they did not charge me more just new customers.
Connection is 99% 9.5/1.7 or better. See download speeds of 1150+ K. Customer service is great they never blame you or your router. Its a small town so you get to know people and it really helps when they know you are not an idiot and treat you as such.
PS> My gripes with Mediacom are over  my parents went with Qwest and love it, and my sister is with MC and she says they have really cleaned up their act.

Muscatine Power and Water's Machlink offers Lite, Turbo, and Mega. This review is for Machlink Lite. No other options were considered.
Again, went with the Machlink Like package, which is quoted at $21.95 per month, plus the one-time installation fees.
Order has always been easy with MPW. Installation is very well and the crews seem to know exactly what they are doing.
Modem is made by ARRIS, and is either the CM550 or the TM501/TM502.
