I have been using there service for a few years and have no major complaints. Aside from the inability to search for a custom number, the only other complaint I have had was the result of human error (stuff happens).

I have no complaints about the call quality or availability. I am using their service with a VPS based PBX (not one of theirs) and have had no routing issues at all. Because they don't offer a lot of extras, their service is really easy to set up. No extra features to mess things up.

I started with link2voip a couple of years ago on a recommendation. I was initially looking at les.net but did not feel comfortable following some pre sales exchanges with them. Signup and payment with link2voip was immediate and I had 2 did's (1 toll free and 1 local) up and running within minutes. Call quality and reliability have been outstanding. One thing that I have always taken for granted is the ability to add sip users to the account. For some reason other providers treat this as some sort voodoo that has to be done behind the scenes. Over the years I have added multiple users using outbound and inbound (did's can be routed to individual sip users or sip uri's).

The shortcomings of link2voip have to do with the lack of features. These became more pronounced as I started looking to not run a full fledged pbx on my own. I am slowly moving to voip.ms because the combination of e911, voice mail, ivr, ring group, forwarding, etc that voip.ms offers. Outbound termination will still be done through link2voip and I still have a dozen users on my account both inbound and outbound.

As I said the did prices are a bit higher than the competition but certainly not out of line considering the quality/reliability:

DID Rate Plans (Incoming)

* Unlimited DID Pricing:
$9.99/month and 0¢/min (2 incoming channels)
* Per-Minute DID Pricing:
$2.49/month and 1.1¢/min (uncapped channels)
* Toll-Free (USA + Canada) DID Pricing:
$1.49/month and 4¢/min (uncapped channels)

Domestic Termination Rates (Outgoing)

* Continental USA (US48) ONLY 1.5¢/min
* Canada (Excluding NWT) ONLY 1.1¢/min

There is a $50 minimum deposit done through normal credit card processing.

Bottom line is if you have your own pbx and don't need additional features then link2voip is an excellent choice.
