I have been using aledo broadband for nearly a year now, and all is not good. While the service provides relatively fast browsing and downloading, (minus peak hours when upload/download speeds crawl to speeds under 30 kbs) This provider fails miserably at FPS gaming online. Pings can go from 60 to 15,000 at any given time. Pretty much unplayable. Of the 7 or 8 calls I have made to customer service only once have I had some sort of reliable help. All other calls dismissed the problems to the games server or simply telling me that what i am experiencing is 'as good as it gets'
On the plus side, monthly fees are relatively low at $40.00 at 2mb speeds
albiet installation was a little high at just over $350.00 for install.
a no go for gamers, a go ahead if you dare for the casual surfer.
