We started with BellSouth many years ago and have migrated through Clear, Paradise then TelstraClear to Vodafone. We are on a cable supply.
We have a composite package - 1 Land line phone, 2 mobile phones, 2 TV set top boxes and unlimited broadband. We also have SKY sport and SKY basic extra T V channels. Cost is a bit over NZ$200.00/month. Price is negotiated to suit our requirements.
The order process is quite tortuous as not all call center staff will try to tailor a suitable package but eventually when one gets to the right person its a breeze.
The install process is good - subcontracted to an installation company, Vodafone called to confirm a suitable time then the installer called on the day to verify the time. Good.
The exchanged modem is a Cisco DPC3008 installed for the new unlimited Broadband and 2 x Motorola SB5101U modems for the set top boxes were installed a couple of years ago.
The set top boxes are not that reliable as we have had them replaced twice they are house branded TelstraClear with a part number HT500A. The present pair work well.
Sometimes it has been a bit of a struggle to get them to understand what I want but when I get to the right person they are most helpful. I have always ended up being fully satisfied with Vodafone.

Vodafone has made a major overhaul of both its 3G and 4G networks. Speeds
are dramatically improved and online websites are totally overhauled. There
are many new plans, most offering greater value. Telephone support is very
much better.
After several disastrous years when they came to be known as "Vodafail", it
is pleasing to see the Australian partnership-owned subsidiary of the *world's
largest telephone company* come out of the doldrums. I encourage anyone to
check coverage, then give them a go.
*Warning. Do not purchase pre-paid vouchers from supermarkets. They either
fail to have the plan on the register, or the voucher may not deliver the
proper plan value. For vouchers, if needed, use Vodafone shops or
resellers.*
It is best to do it all online. (Yes, you can get to their website without
an account.)
