I am more then Happy with QNETs DSL. I started out on the 768/128 plan and had that for about a year. Then when they offered a 1.5/384 plan for the same price, I called them up. Unlike ANY ISP I or anyone that I know have dealt with there was a friendly HUMAN voice who picked up the phone. I explained I would like to switch to the higher speed plan for the same price ($29.95 /mo) and they switched me over without a problem. NO DOWN TIME! I woke up the morning of my due date, DSL was connected, went to work, had the higher speed when I went home. Flawless switchover, and the speeds are awesome.
The Technical Support is BEYOND Great. I can get ahold of a tech 7 days a week! They always help me with any internet issues I have with my computer. I have never had to have them troubleshoot my DSL because I've NEVER had a problem with the service. My wife loves the support also because if she has an problems relating to the Internet she gives QNET a call and if they cant support her they do everything in their power to point her in the correct direction.
I  QNET

I believe they are ferreting out the normal dsl players for the larger fish. They've capped their DSL throughput to less than 300K.

They used to be the best in my book. About 4 months ago when verizon took over GTE my download speeds went from 700KBPS to 234KBPS. When I contacted them they said that the problem was on Verizon's side. After repeated calls to both Qnet and Verizon I finally got down to the truth. Qnet is limiting the bandwidth of the DSL subscribers because the monthly rate doesn't compare to that of there T1 subscribers. Aparently the T1 subscribers were complaining about reduced line speed so Qnet makes up for it by restricting the DSL users.
