    On and off over the course of a year to get Verizon to replace Fujitsu DSL modem ISS 1 with another, finally received new ISS 2 Thursday Feb 20, 2003. WCC insistance the problem was the modem, Verizon equally insistent the problem wasn't the modem. I get lines hits every 30 seconds to two minutes with dry lines up to 280ms. Verizon states this is not normal. WCC says average is normal. I had to reset by unplugging the DSL modem as much as six times in one session. I had to reset the modem 50 percent of the time after being away from the computer for a period of time. 50 per cent of that time, I had to totally shutdown and restart computer. You tell me!
