We are located in the same business park as ISOMedia so were able to get wireless broadband link (10MB) from their building for $125/month. Great price for a fast internet connection.

ISOMedia customer service (Tammy) is FANTASTIC! She went out of her way to get us up in running when the install was delayed due to circumstance beyond ISOMedia's control. Tammy contacted another of their customers in the business park to arrange a WiFi connection to get us internet access until our link was up and running. She also pushed through a DSL order with Verizon to get our back up DSL service operational in 3 days in case there were further delays.

I have had internet service from Verizon, Earthlink and Integra. ISOMedia has been by far the easiest and best company from which I have received internet service. Highly recommended!

I switched to Isomedia from Verizon a few months ago. It has been an awesome experience. I was really impressed by the customer service representative’s patience, and responsiveness. I felt like I was being dealt with in a very upfront and clear manner. Even though I was very slow to change services the rep I dealt with at Isomedia never pressured me, and took time to answered all my questions (and there were a lot of them). From my initial inquiries all the way through my decision to switch (which took me a couple of months) I felt like I was dealing with a person instead of cog in some corporate monster like Verizon (yuck). I often have to deal with people via email, and even so my rep at Isomedia is super fast in responding when ever I have a question.

Once I decided to switch the change over was almost seamless. I depend on having reliable service. So Isomedia scheduled a switchover time that was convenient for me. When the switch happened there was virtually zero downtime while my IP was changed from a previously dynamic address to a static one provided by Isomedia. I was actually out of town during the switch and didn’t have to raise a finger, Isomedia handled everything.

The pricing plans are also very competitive for the services I needed. All in all I can’t say enough about how happy I am with their service. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been with Isomedia for over three years now, and am very happy with the service they provide me. The tech support and sales people I have dealt with have been polite and responsive to any questions I may have had. Each of them has gone out of his or her way to ensure that I was satisfied.

An example of their outstanding support occurred when I recently upgraded the bandwidth of my service (from 1.5 to 6.0). Although the upgrade generally went well, there was a small configuration problem with the DSL modem. Bob, the tech support guy who assisted me, stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to resolve the issue. He was patient and insightful, and I could not have asked for a better person to help me out.

Although my service calls have been few and far between (three times, I think, in three years), the people at Isomedia always treat me like a person and not just a number. That alone makes the slightly higher cost worth it.

If you are looking for reliability and incredible customer service, I really do recommend Isomedia.

I switched to Isomedia in 1999. I have found this company to be responsive to my questions and proactive in their approach to protect me from those less desirable nuisances and bogus emails that we all seem to get from time to time.

The few times I had problems, (no system is perfect) I found their service to be prompt accurate and they actually understand what real service means to someone less technically savvy.

I would, have, and continue to recommend Isomedia to my family and friends and I am very satisfied with their over all performance over the years. Isomedia is the only company from my experience that offered an increase in online speed and saved me money in the process. It seems to me that Isomedia sets the bar pretty high and then delivers. It is a great company made up of even greater people.

    Warren

I have had Isomedia as my DSL/ISP for years but had to use Verizon for the DSL circuit. When I found out that I could have Isomedia handle all of it for me and increase my speed by 3-4 times what I had, I made the change over to Isomedia completely. Now I don't have to deal with tech support and sales people who don't know what they are talking about. Not that I have to talk to tech support often, maybe once or twice a year. Isomedia is an awesome company to have providing and servicing my DSL. Tammy Vago was wonderful to work with during the entire process. Contact Tammy if you want to work with someone wonderful. 1.877.476.2660 ext. 8712

I recently switched from an Earthlink dialup account to DSL with ISOMedia
for my internet service provider and web hosting. ISOmedia has made the
transition very easy. Their sales staff in particular is extremely helpful
and the tech support has been great as well. I highly recommend their
    services.

I've used Isomedia as an ISP since early 2001, and then as a web host in November of that same year. I, or my clients, have added three additional web host accounts. Service has been perfect and uneventful.

I am especially appreciative of their fast anti virus practices. Compared to MSN, where the Sober virus was rampant, Isomedia stopped it before any Sober message got to me.

And recently, I lost DSL service due to a power supply that was hit during a storm. The DSL modem was extremely old (came to me via GTE) and could not be replaced. However, Isomedia found one and loaned it to me, until I could get switched to a new modem. And as a bonus, the new modem will allow speeds at four times what I was using, at the same monthly cost. Nice service!

Seattle,King,WA
Business customer
$90 per month (12 month contract)
about 12 days
Verizon
CLEC party: Covad
"Excellent Customer Service. All eforts made to keep me in the loop."
"You will need to know how to configure your system for the service."
"Great service and good prices for the seasoned user or business. Not the best choice for grandma."
Pre Sales information:

    The vitals:

    1. Speed ordered: TeleSoho 3.0/768 Dedicated ADSL

    2. DSL reports test speed: 2.8 / 534

    2. 3rd parties: Had choice of covad or quest, chose covad. Verizon also involved for line install.

    3. Order to live: 05/03 - 05/15

When I called Isomedia, I was impressed by their friendly, strait forward and no-nonsense CSR's. They immediately got me a list of plans and options with Quest or Covad and clearly showed the differences in these services in a fine custom chart for me. IT took me very little time, with all the info in front of me, to decide on the Covad plan with a rebate for the install costs, and cable-like speeds with 5 static IPs for 90 a month. Whooohooo.

Having been jerked around trying to order business class from Comcast for so long, I was a bit late in arranging DSL for my new apartment. So I only gave them 10 days to have me up and running. We didn't make that goal, but this was due to covad and verizon. Since Isomedia kept me in the loop and forwarded me work-orders and communications with the third parties, I didn't have any questions about who was holding up the line.

They gave me frank and realistic estimates of how long it would take me to get up and running. They refused to provide me a firm time frame and explained why that was. This may sound wierd, but I REALLY like that. So many ISP's and customer service reps will make bogus guarantees that I like knowing that I'm not being BS'd when I am told how long something should take, how long it could take, and why.

They also gave me advice for what I could do to minimize the install time and that seemed to really help on the verizon and covad end of things.

There were only a few hitches which were mostly due to Covad's scheduling and failure to make thier appointments and then the covad tech's failure to provide me DNS addresses for Isomedia. Isomedia's tech team had those to me right away.

The only confusion with Isomedia was that they didn't really cover how I was to setup the connection. I wasn't sure if I was to use ppoe, static Ip, dhcp to the modem, etc...I made a few guesses after prying a little nugget from the covad guy (who gave me an IP addy, Gateway, Host, etc...everything but the DNS ip's) and was successful in getting up and running. I don't mind having taken that step myself, and in fact I prefer doing it myself to the quick "setup" cd's that most ISP's use to oblitterate your registry and network setup. Sop if you are a do-it-yourselfer, or a professional with an IT guy then this is a great value and I doubt it can be beat.

Now that I'm up and running there are no problems at all with the service. the uplink is steady and near the rated speed of the line, and the downlink is obviously WAY WAY fast. No smoke, nor fire yet, the line is good, Isomedia remains friendly and dedicated, and is processing my rebate for me right now.

They keep me in the loop and on top of things. If I were to describe them briefly I would say "Professional, classy, and made for people who know what they want, everything a business person like me wants to see."

Fortunately for our company, Isomedia shares our building, thus, we are able to take advantage of proximity and have a direct ethernet connection. This allows us to have 4 mb transfer rate down AND up! We had a little bit of a problem switching our nameservers, but that was due to problems on our side. Isomedia's tech wired us up and we were going in about two hours after he began. Also, as soon as Isomedia told us our nameservers had been switched, they actually were. There was only a tiny hitch in transferring our email, but we lost no messages. Note, the monthly cost shown includes webhosting and internet hookup.

All in all, a very good experience in changing isp's.
