I ordered the 1.5MB DSL from Qwest for 49.95 a month with Isomedia as my ISP. This was ordered to replace the ISDN circuit I had been using for two years, while no other connection options were available in my neighborhood. The order process went smoothly, but the install process didn't. Qwest was supposed to install the circuit in the morning, but didn't show up until 3:30 in the afternoon. So I wasted a whole day waiting for Qwest to show up.
The home equipment is a LAN with several PCs running Windows XP Pro and a server running Windows 2000 Server. I use a Cisco 3524 XL switch for the LAN backbone and Qwest supplied an ActionTec modem for the DSL connection. I have configured the ActionTec modem to connect to my ISP using transparent bridging. I also disabled DHCP in the ActionTec modem and assigned it a static IP address from my LAN. This configuration allows all my PCs to obtain IP addresses from my server and use the ActionTec modem as thier default gateway for all internet connections.
I have used Isomedia as my ISP at home and at work for more than two years and I have always been very happy with thier service. If there is ever a problem, thier tech support team responds quickly and corrects it. Isomedia is the best ISP I have ever worked with.

We ordered basic Qwest DSL with them as the ISP also. After a few hours of troubleshooting over the phone, two dsl modems and 3 technician visits onsite, we cancelled the Qwest ISP account and signed up with Isomedia.
Keith from Isomedia continued working with me and pushing Qwest to find out the problem. Another modem and onsite technician visit finally got them to change the card we were hooked up to in the Central Office, which solved the problem.
I had given up after multiple trips to the site (my client is the DSL customer, I am a consultant), it just wasn't worth the money they were paying me to try and make it work. Keith didn't give up and the next day got the issue resolved.

After switching to Isomedia, our DSL connection is very reliable. We have our service with Isomedia over two years now and we only have a few lost of connections (a couple of times was our DSL modem).
Last year, we moved our web hosting over to Isomedia because of the numerous down time we had with our old service provider. We have not had a down time yet with Isomedia. We also added the Sharepoint to our service to help coordinate project with multiple companies; it works great without compromise our companys security over the internet and minimize the cost of acquiring equipments to do the same job.
Their tech support staffs are very helpful to get us up and running.
The sales manager we have is very helpful of getting the services we need. He always calls to make sure everything is working ok for us.
Overall, I give them a A+ for their commitment to serve their clients.

I have DSL and web hosting, Isomedia has been reliable, consistent and everything works ! The people from sales to techs have been friendly, supportive and very quick to respond to any and all questions or problems, even the problems I have caused with my less than stellar web design skills.
Thank you,
Tim Smith

I FINALLY was able to get DSL service in my area and after years of dial-up DSL is great. My initial exploratory contact with Isomedia was very pleasant an informative. It was like talking with a friend. When I decided to "go for it" the process was quick and painless. I actually did it all on my cell phone while I was on my way to work.
I received my modem in the mail and a great guy in support walked me through the installation. It was not without snags and the tech was able to solve all of my problems and got me up and running within about 15 minutes. They even helped me later when I networked my 2 home computers and had to add a router.
I even received follow up emails asking me how the service was and if I had any questions or concerns. That's something you don't see everyday in todays "No-customer service" business environment.
My service is month to month - there was no contract to sign and because I was able to cancel my 2nd phone line in the house (which I used exclusively for the internet), I am actually saving money over my dial-up service.
I have 100K DSL service and now when I get those "critical updates" I don't have to walk away and come back to the computer and hour later.

On December 5th I signed on to an ISOMedia IDSL 12 month contract after much back and forth comparing the expense and service of IDSL VS satellite internet. Needing VPN speed I chose the IDSL, and chose ISOMedia who offered the package at $99 per month with about $700 in rebates for service and router. (Averages out to about $75 per month with rebates applied back to monthly cost, with free install and router). This is how the install went; SBC came out on the 16th to get the line to the Demarc as scheduled.
AT&T called to confirm sending Covad out on the 18th, I made the mistake of wanting to check the colander and calling them back. (I got into an AT&T Covad overseas callback hell !) Covad arrived on the 23rd as scheduled, ran a new line to the office where the PC's are and tested the connection. I had an SMC wireless router there and spoke with the Tech on the phone who said he was going to connect it. When he left he told my wife the connection was working and said something about calling AT&T to setup my SMC router.
I arrived home anxiously wanting to check out the connection to find the Efficient brand router connected to nothing (I thought He would at least connect it to 1 PC on the install, figuring he was not allowed to connect it to my router?).
I connected my wireless router to the Efficient router with the crossover cable provided and BAM... instant internet, truly plug and play...
I checked all of my connections and VPN to my work, flawless.
Performance is very good considering I am coming from cable modem, and is better than ISDN.
SUMMARY; So far I am thrilled with ISOMEDIA's professional performance from standing behind all of Cheryl's claims and complimentary dial-up until the IDSL was installed to Maggie's excellent scheduling and Covad's install. (Even SBC came thorough on promptness on this install, from past experience SBC usually takes 3-6 weeks).
I would like to add that for the price of IDSL, I think they should offer the same features as thier other DSL packages which include webspace and complimentary dial-up for on the road. Maybe in the future?

I'm an administrator of a 20 user network. We use Isomedia's Business Pro-VW 768k/768k service with a mix of dedicated IPs and internal DHCP. We use their store & forward email service to our in house exchange server. 60% of our work is online and email. Broadband is mission critical at our office. We would grind to a halt without it. I've been with Isomedia for three years now. We haven't had any down time since we started. I've had a few server issues on my side and coordinated with Isomedia to get all the services re-aligned. We didn't miss any emails because of their store and forward email service. I was very happy with their service! I've dealt with Ryan Santwire from the start. He's carried through on everything we've needed.
I also help family, friends and other small business' with their network and connectivity. I try and get them all hooked up with Isomedia to reduce my maintenance time!

I love that I may choose to pay from an invoice or have it directly transferred from my debit card. I also love that I may choose monthly, quarterly or annual payment.
Tech support is great! I am not left on hold. I can leave a message & know that I will receive a return call within a few minutes! I have only needed tech support twice - when I purchased new computers and did not recall all the information to put in for my dial up. Very patient people!
