I wanted to share with you my experience in dealings with Isomedia.com
from Redmond WA. I am an avid online gamer as well as user of the
internet for send family members movies, pictures and more. I would
classify myself as a novice to intermediate internet user. I have had
cable broad band service, dial up service and DSL service. I have never
been more pleased with any service as much as I am with Isomedia. In
particular Maggie Tice has been absolutely wonderful in every way to
help expedite my service. I did have a lot of trouble getting the phone
company to help and in the end they said they wouldn't be able to
provide service for me. The area that I live did not have Comcast
access at the time and Isomedia was the only company willing to help me
out. I have never had an outage that lasted more than five minutes
(only twice in about a year has this happened) and when I have a concern
or a problem the support staff at Isomedia resolves it the same day. I
can't say enough good things about Isomedia.

Thanks for connecting me to the ones I care about.

    Tom Puthoff
    A happy customer of Isomedia.com

I've been using DSL since Isomedia and the phone company first offered it. At first there were a few bugs to work out. There have been on bugs since.

Installation on both ends went smothly. The DSL modem was free. Monthly cost from the phone company is about $34 and Isomedia is around $22. One must keep in mind that a second phone line is not required with DSL. I was paying around $18 per month for an extra phone line. So the real cost for DSL is around $16. No longer needed that second phone line.

At the same time I had the DSL installed, I had cable installed as well. Both offered a one month free trial. Cable was much faster than DSL but less reliable. I opoted for DSL over cable because keeping my ISP, who offerers great service, and the fact I could keep my e-mail address are very important to me. As it turns out, I made the right choice. Neighbors who made different choices are not happy sometimes.

I am ready for greater bandwidth. Too bad I live too far from the phone company. I figure this condition will be resolved in the near future.

I have used Isomedia ISP (originally Pioneerenet) for five years and have been very happy with the service. One of the high points of their service is their willingness and ability to work with customers like me who are not computer whizes. We have only dialup service available in our area, and DSL is not on the horizon. Cable service is the most likely high speed internet to be avilable here, and I will likely stay with Isomedia and a dialup, rather than go to a company with lesser customer service.

I have had Isomedia (originally pioneernet) for the past 3 years at my home and office. The technical support has always been great. The billing dept is helpful. Everyone is courteous, professional and capable. I appreciate their efforts on my behalf. I think the value is good for the service. I pay $19.95 a month for dial-up service. The webmail is good as is the virus protection . The Spamcatcher seems OK; although some still gets through. I'd rather have spam then miss my legit emails.

I switched to Isomedia because my old ISP didn't support DSL and I couldn't be happier. I've really only had one problem (my IP address suddenly wasn't working and I had to get a new one), but other than that, no complaints! The tech support was great when that happened, by the way.

Isomedia bought my former DSL provider Connect Northwest. The transition was explained clearly well in advance of the switch date. The transition itself was rough, but not due to Isomedia - my TelCo Qwest had not configured my modem properly. After bouncing around Qwest support for a while, it was Isomedia tech support that discovered what was wrong. They were excellent - they responded quickly and spent ample time helping troubleshoot the problem and working directly with Qwest.

I have a basic (lite) DSL service for 17.95/month. Dynamic IP, can't remember the speed. I use e-mail and do some research on the net, so it's more than adequate for me.

Great service, great value - I recommend it!

You have the best service! I have been a customer since 1997 and I have no complaints whatsoever. Not only is your internet service consistently reliable but you also have a very customer-oriented staff who take quick action. I just hope I can sign up for your DSL offer soon! Connection speeds average 50.6 and that's good enough for dial-up. I've recommended them to my friends and they too are impressed.

    Updated on April 3rd

Ordered on March 18. Pacbell out on the 28th to install the Data line . Pacbell was out a day earlier as install wasn't to be til the 29th . Great ! I was home any way would've hated to miss him .

Covad Tech came out on the 2nd of April installed rest of the equipment went without a hitch it was up and running, tho the Tech forgot to give me the info on my line called ISOMEDIA . Talked to them ran thu the usually power cycle the modem.........ect . Still no luck. Ran thru the settings for the network properties. Got that squared away but still no service knew it worked, I watched the Covad Tech surf the net on his lap top to test the line and had to verify it with AT&T when the Covad tech had them on the phone. Isomedia put me on hold called AT&T and found out the Covad Tech didn't release the line like he was suppose too. Was told to power down the modem for a few hours which I did . Came back a few hours and my connection was working. From order to live in 15 - 16 days . Not bad was faster then my first DSL hookup that took a month and a half .

I can only get IDSL 144/144 connection using a speedstream 5871 . Average speed is 133 / 130 Hopefully come June or July I can get a static IP with a extra IP address but thats another story . Bottom line their Tech Department rocks! I'm not sitting there on the phone more then 2 or 3 mins compared to my last provider with a hold time of 30 - 45 mins. Great Tech Department ISOMEDIA ! Look forward to you as my Internet Service Provider for the next year .

    Update May 23rd

Well its been well over a month and I am very pleased with ISOMEDIA .
No problems whats so ever. Keep up the great work.

    Updated August 20

Every good thing must come to and end sooner or later. Cable is finally here in my area and I'm making the switch. My dealings with ISOMEDIA for the past year and and some months was a smooth ride. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Internet Service Provider that takes pride in their company. From the sales department to the tech department I salute you all. Thanks ISOMEDIA for being part of my life.
