Value for money:

I live off of Rosemont and I-15 in Frederick, MD and the first broadband hook-up I had was from Adelphia (they bought GS Cyclone in Frederick).

When it was clear that Adelphia cable modem connection was both slow speed and very poor reliability, in a moment of desperately searching for an alternetive I fortunately found AccSystems (www.the-internet.ac).

From AccSystems I ordered their basic residential connection (»www.the-internet.ac/res-com-prices.htm) for $75.00 per month plus $250.00 installation. The installation went very smoothly.

In my case home equipment consists of a Netopia router, Verizion T1 drop in the basement, 802.11 transmitter/reciever, and the antenna on the roof. The package from AccSystems came with a static IP.

The bottom line is that they hooked me up as a 802.11 base station and now I'm maxing out the speed tests!
