To whom it may concern,
I wanted to write to you concerning my local DSL provider located in
Wilmington, NC. I have had my local, long-distance, and internet
service transferred to BTI. As the network administrator new to my
current company, I was very excited when BTI's support team was
available on Saturday afternoon to help me. The assisted me with
reprogramming my router, and got my network off the ground.
Not once since last September (5 months now) have I had 1 minute of down
time. The service and technical staff is excellent. The billing is
combined with all of my other services in one convenient bill, and most
importantly my employees are saving time on the net.
As a past customer service specialist for a major bank, we always
advised our associates to not only meet the customer's expectations but
to exceed them. BTI has most definitely exceeded all of my company's
expectations and more.
I ask that you please let other businesses and homes in our area know
what a great job BTI is doing.

They are not able to install customer circuits
I ordered a t-1 in September, the have not called me back with an
installation yet. I have made many calls to them, but no Answers.

Coastal moved its internet access from 64K dialup ISDN to 288K Bonded iDSL from BTI (2 144K iDSL lines). This allowed me, Coastal's IS Manager, to remove the proxy server, therefore eliminating one of the systems that could break and disrupt internet access. I was also able to place, with BTI's cooperation, the iDSL router with a static IP on the outside of a firewall running on an in-house router which allows me to control access and services from the internet to Coastal's intranet. The result is a secure, fast, always on connection available to all my users.
Thanks to Michael Chittum of Infranet Technologies Group for coordinating the installation and configuration of this solution.

BTI Bundled ISDN service has been outstanding. Setting up internally
was a breeze. However it did take 4 months to get the live connection
to the building, but I think that was more of an issue with BellSouth
and the way BTI requested new lines and the specs needed regarding
Slicks. The service is up and running great.

Subscribe 128 line @ $89 per month w/1yr min contract. No Cost installation and modem w/annual contract.
Ordered over the telephone, after waiting 90 days for Rythms, Flashcom, and BellSouth promised service, received funding and never delivered the service.
BTI is excellent! Promised service in 30 days, and delivered 10 days early. Installed Copper Rocket modem in less than 10 minutes up and running.
Customer service calls all the time, following up on service and satisfaction. Gives you a sense of caring.
I like the quality of service and commitment to there customers. I now have Local, Long Distance, and DSL with BTI.

In June of this year we contracted with BTI to receive DSL service and local
phone service. It took about 45 days to installation (shorter than most
competitiors quoted) and the installation went very smoothly. We have been
using BTI DSL service for about three months now. Have experienced very
little downtime or connection problems. Overall, we are quite please with
the install, price, customer service and technical support we have received.

We recently switched our internet service and web-site hosting to BTI.
In that conversion they installed a DSL line. So far, we have been very
pleased with both the service. We have been especially pleased with the
cooperation and assistance we received in making the switch.

Per your request below is feedback on Executive Staffing's DSL line!
We are very satisfied to date with our DSL service. We have enjoyed a
faster connection and little to no interuption of service. There was a
little growing pain running while running parrell and trying to
implement the new DSL connection but all is running smoothly now and we
are very satisfied.

I have been using the BTI DSL for about 2 months now. I had a problem
with the DSL line not being connected somehow. After calling BTI support
about the problem it was rectified at the switch. It appears that there
was work being done on the line next to mine and my line was
accidentally dropped. the service response was quite good and my
connection has been up ever since. My location is in Wilmington. Most of
the time my service is as advertised up to 50% faster than the ISP that
I was using. Streaming audio is great. There is no down time waiting for
the audio to catch up to my computer.
My rating of BTI from a 1 to 10 is 9.
