Read the two sections below (the Firmware links are included):
Going by filename, the second Firmware appears to be newest.

To update your Efficient 5100 EarthLink-UHP Modem to this firmware:
1. Connect to the internet. Begin downloading the update file by clicking Download Update below. When prompted, save the update file to your Windows Desktop.

2. Once the update file has downloaded, double click Update_E141_A2C to begin the update process.
Note: Your modem must have an ethernet connection to your PC and your PC must be properly configured to communicate with your modem.
3. Click the Update Firmware button when it appears on your screen.
4. Once the update is complete, click "OK".
5. Click the Cancel button to exit the update application.
6. Your update is now complete. Reconfigure your modem with your username and password to establish a connection to the internet.
7. After you have successfully connected to the internet, you can delete Update_E141_A2C from your Desktop.
