Yes, you can!
Although funding has ended the Genome @ Home project, at least for now, Stanford does have use for all the slower CPUs which cannot meet the regular F@H work unit preferred deadlines. The client can be configured with the F@H team number for the team of choice and, in advanced configuration, by choosing to request work units without deadlines. This will alert the assignment servers to redirect the client to be served WUs without deadlines (timeless WUS,) allowing all our slower CPUs to contribute to the science!
Just install the latest client per instructions. Be sure to say "yes" when asked if you want to configure advanced options. For this option, Request work units without deadlines (no-ref/no/yes:, choose yes as your preference. Remember! Team Helix is Team 4!
