After downloading and installing the client, you must attach to a project. You will need a few items to attach. First, you'll need your account key, which can be found in your activation email. If you don't have an account key, see here /faq/10503. You'll also need the project URL, which is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu.

After intially installing the client, the first screen you should see looks like this:



If you don't see that window, click on "Settings" and choose "Attach to Project". Just enter in the your info and BOINC will take care of the rest!
