2Wire's business model is to sell their products to ISPs who in turn sell/give them to their customers. The homeportals are "branded" for each ISP. However, some generic 2Wire equipment has been known to show up on the retail market.

At one time you could buy some 2Wire products from CDW or BestBuy.

However the primary channel these days is through your ISP.
