How do I transfer a Sympatico account from one person to another? (#11359)
Call 310-SURF and ask Bell to do a "Transfer of Responsibility" [their terminology] which will simply transfer the registration and obligation to pay the monthly bill over to another person. This costs a flat $25 and (a) there's no disruption to phone/DSL service and (b) all e-mail addresses are transferred. The current account holder needs to call Bell first to confirm his/her agreement with the transfer. Credit: bylo feedback form by MacGyver
