SMC2804WBR Barricade™ G (#11948)
The SMC2804WBR 2.4GHz 54Mbps Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband Router lets users share files and a broadband Internet connection among their computers without using cables. It features an integrated 4-port dual-speed 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch that lets you connect wired computers for all the advantages of networking. Each port supports automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover support, and auto-adjusts to the speed and duplex mode of the attached device. The SMC2804WBR includes a 54 Mbps wireless Access Point and two detachable antennas, which make sharing files and peripherals easier than ever. It offers advanced features for the highest level of flexibility. Using its Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, the SMC2804WBR protects your network from outside intrusions by hackers. Its Virtual Private Networking (VPN) pass-through allows you to work from another location. The SMC2804WBR also configures easily via your Web browser. This platform-independent router works with PCs and Macintosh computers, and offers interoperability with any 802.11b-compliant wireless device.
