You don't. The cable ISPs load the firmware from their network into your cable modem. The firmware loaded is what they work with to provide the service needed to your line. If your cable operator permits, you can give your them a call and ask for a update to your modem's firmware. Chances are, tech support will deny your request - but, it depends. | ||||
