Primus will not allow the WAN port's MAC address to be changed, as their system will only accept certain MAC addresses for the DVG ATAs.

If you could change the DVG's WAN port MAC address to be the same as your Computer's NIC card, it would not be recognized as a valid MAC address on the Primus TBB server, and you would never get service. Furthermore, changing the MAC address on the DVG ATA is a violation of the TBB Customer Service Agreement.

A better solution would be to register the MAC address of the TBB DVG ATA's WAN port with your ISP so that it can receive a DHCP address... [typically the only reason for MAC address cloning]
