Heat Index

Note: This Heat Index is on based shade temperatures and a wind speed of about 6 MPH. Standing in direct sunlight with no breeze can increase the Heat Index by 15° F or more!

Wind Chill

Note: Wind speeds below 5 MPH and above 50 MPH have very litte effect on wind chill. Bright sunshine can reduce the effect of wind chill by several degrees. Frostbite occurs to exposed skin in 15 minutes or less with a wind chill of -18° F (-28° C) or below.
