Can I bring my DVR to a friends house and play the recordings? (#13130)
Unfortunately, no. The DVR box needs a cable signal from Comcast. This is done to prevent piracy/theft. More information can be found here. There might be a hack out there for this, but I can't guaranty that it would work and if it would mess your box up. feedback form by Lostintech
