From Fakapico: What you want to do is clear out the device list. The easiest way to do that is this: Open the management and diagnostic webpage on the Homeportal. Http://gateway.2wire.net/management On the left menu you'll see the "Troubleshooting" section, and under that you will find the option Resets Your very first option there says Clear Local network, click on the clear button and you're done. You might find if you look at the device list after this that one or more of your current computers either don't show up or have the name "Unknown"... When they renew their IP addresses that will resolve automatically. Hope that helps, Piko
Clicking the Clear Local network button also clears any and all previously saved firewall rules associated with local devices in the list. So, you may want to record what those rules are before performing the reset, since you'll have to program them back in for any computers that are acting as servers. 2007-12-03 02:41:46 Be careful! This will also delete all static IP assignments and firewall assignments. 2011-07-14 11:05:59 | |||||
