Can I get a letter for my employer/school if my train was delayed?

From the MTA:

"Call New York City Transit Customer Services at 718-330-3322, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. Please be prepared to provide the following information: date of delay, bus route or subway line, station/stop boarded, departure time, transfer point, final destination, arrival time, and number of minutes delayed."
