This years Instant Messaging Client Poll saw 393 votes cast by 303 members.

The largest majority 88 members (22.3%) of the voters are not using an Instant Messaging Client.

Of those using a client the multi-protocol Pidgin was leader with 13.9% of the vote narrowly edging out ever popular Windows Live Messenger (formerly MSN Messenger) which received 13.4%.

In third place another multi-protocol client Trillian which received 11.1% of the vote.
